Linux文檔計劃的版權許可協議（中文版）

  下述版權許可協議適用于Linux文檔計劃的所有作品。請仔細閱讀本許可協議，它與GNU通用公共許可協議（General Public License，簡稱GPL）類似，但其中有幾個條件會有所不同。如果有什么疑問，可與LDP的組織者聯系，e-mail地址為mdw@sunsite.unc.edu。

版權許可協議
  Linux文檔計劃的手冊可以被全部或部分地再版和發布，但要遵守如下條件：
  Linux文檔計劃的所有手冊，其版權歸各自的作者所有，它們并不是位于公共域中的內容。
  * 上述版權聲明和許可聲明必須完全保留在任何全部或部分的復制品中。
  * 《Linux Installation and Getting Started》的任何翻譯或派生作品在發布之前必須得到其作者的認可。
  * 如果要部分地發布《Linux Installation and Getting Started》，必須包括獲取本手冊完全版本的說明并提供獲取完全版本的方法。
  * 在其它作品中，為了評論或說明而合理地引用手冊中的少量內容，可以不受許可聲明的限制。

出版LDP手冊
  如果你是一個出版公司并且對出版LDP手冊感興趣，請閱讀下面的內容。
  按照前面一節所提供的許可協議，任何人都允許出版和發布LDP手冊的完全相同的復制品，并且不需要獲得我們的明確許可。然而，如果你想要出版以任何LDP手冊為基礎的翻譯或派生作品，那么在出版之前必須得到作者的許可。

  但是參照英文原文，我認為上述譯文有幾處不妥，現列舉如下：(為了尊重原譯者,我沒有在原譯文上進行改動)
  1． 版權許可協議第二段，最后一句譯文為："它們并不是位于公共域中的內容"。原文為："THEY ARE NOT IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN."我認為譯作："它們并不是公有的"。更為合適。這是因為public domain作為名詞的含義是公有土地，應該可以自然地引申為公有物品的含義。
  2． 版權許可協議最后一段，第一句譯文為："這些準則對于以教學研究為目的的人員例外。"原文為："Exceptions to these rules may be granted for academic purposes: Write to the author and ask."我認為譯作："對于以學術研究為目的的人員，這些準則可能并不適用：請與作者聯系并進行詢
問。"更為合適。這是因為academic意為：學術的、理論的，而不是教學的。上述譯文同時忽略了對"可能性"的表述和對作者進行詢問的要求。

GNU FREE DOCUMENT LICENSE

0. PREAMBLE
The purpose of this License is to make a manual, textbook, or other written document "free" in the sense of freedom: to assure everyone the effective freedom to copy and redistribute it, with or without modifying it, either commercially or noncommercially. Secondarily, this License preserves for the author and publisher a way to get credit for their work, while not being considered responsible for modifications made by others.

2. VERBATIM COPYING
