You can use this information to verify the identity of users or to take action against misbehaving users. </font></ul> <font size="-1"><b><a name="choose_locale" style="text-decoration:none;" ></a>Allow Users To Choose Locale</b></font><ul> <font size="-1"> Specify whether users should be able to choose a custom locale setting in their account settings. If user's aren't allowed to choose their own locale, the global locale will be used. Simple read tracking uses the last time the user visited the forums to flag content as new. Advanced read tracking keeps track of the individual threads and messages a user has viewed, which provides a better browsing experience. However, this tracking incurs a higher database load, so isn't appropriate for large communities. </font></ul><font size="-1"><b><a name="questions" style="text-decoration:none;" ></a>Mark Topics as Questions</b></font><ul> <font size="-1"> You can choose whether or not you allow forum topic authors can mark new topics as questions which require resolution. If allowed, the default skin will put a question mark beside the topic listing on the forum page. </font></ul><font size="-1"><b><a name="rss_feeds" style="text-decoration:none;" ></a>Content Syndication (RSS Feeds)</b></font><ul> <font size="-1"> You can choose whether or not you allow forum and topic listings to be syndicated via RSS. If you do allow it, then data can be streamed from the JSP pages in the /rss folder of the default skin. </font></ul>
