Now if two people are talking, they may talk about the war between America and Iraq. The war between America and Iraq is the hot topic now. Many people are interested in it. And “Make peace, not war” is the sentiment of many people. I also have the same idea.
   The war has broken out. We can’t stop it. We just hope it can be finished quickly or America Government will choose another way to settle the problem of Iraq. From the news we know many people fight for stopping the war but the war is becoming much more terrible.
   I like peace but hate the war. The war broke between the United States and Iraq. American assaults the Iraq. Oh, it is no difference as a senior school student and a little child. We can imagine what is like. 
   The war brought much balefulness not only to Iraq but also to the world.
   Firstly, many innocent lives have been lost in the war and the war brings people into huge panic. Many more Americans have to part from their families to go to war, and millions of Iraqi people will lose their homes and lose their lives, which will all bring sadness to the whole planet. A large number of Iraq people have to tear themselves away from their native place to escape from the battlefield. And they are the victims of the war who are lack of food and water and in great danger day and night. I have seen a photo on the newspaper. In the photo there is an Iraq woman with her children. They have nothing but the tears in their eyes. Maybe the tears were their only water. Oh! What a pity! Now the war is becoming much more terrible. In the future, there will be still some innocent people who will die because of the war. People all over the world have been involved in such a deep sorrow of the gone lives. 
   Secondly, the war brings huge economic losses. The economic activities have been broken heavily by the war. Along with the escalation of the war, much more enterprises will be influenced and the recession will spread to other countries. As a result, civilians’ lives will become harder and harder. The life level will decrease a lot.
Now some other countries’ people, including the Americans, lost their jobs. Many other countries’ people were doing business in Iraq before the war. But now they have to return to their motherland and find a new job. The number of the people who had lost their job is growing bigger and bigger.
   "We all hope peace will come soon, so we can go back to our business”, the people who had lost their jobs said.
I hope their dream will come true soon.
Besides the war has caused much more problems. For instance, the environment will be destroyed, and the resource will be wasted.
The war has just begun; we can’t guess what will happen in further.
I appealed for an early ceasefire in Iraq to lessen the suffering of the Iraqi people, keep the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity intact, and bring the issue back to the United Nations.
We need Peace not the War!
