開啟一個新的 Xterm（如果你在 X
底下）或開啟一個新的虛擬主控臺并且以 root 簽入． <br>

在這個新的階段作業中，發出這個指令 <br>

tail -f /var/log/messages <br>
<br>
<br>
（或是你系統記錄檔案的任何名稱）． <br>

在第一個視窗（或是虛擬主控臺中）發出這個命令 <br>

ppp-on & <br>

（或是任何你所編輯的 /usr/sbin/ppp-on

PPP． <br>

這看起來沒什麼問題 － 所以如同前面的測試般， ping 一些 IP
號碼以及主機名稱． <br>
<br>
起動你的全球資訊瀏覽器或是任何其它東東并且開始逛 － 你上線了!
