!001                 Transport Capacity.   This tutorial explains the use and editing oftransmission capacities.Under the Edit menu the Transcap entry brings upan editing dialog that permits editing of numberof buyers and sellers as well and the transmissioncapacity matrix.  This was discussed in the tutorialon Data Modification.  This tutorial will discussthe meaning of the entries in the transmissioncapacity matrix.!002            Transmission Capacity Matrix.   The matrix that appears in the Edit Transcapdialog is indexed by the buyers and sellers.  Thenumbers in the matrix are the transmission capacityavailable between a given buyer and seller: it isassumed there are lines between all pairs of buyersand sellers in this simulator.   Individual entries can be edited or the slider andUniform button will set all entries to a single value.!003               Unbalancing the Simulator.   Editing the transmission capacity matrix allows theuser to create bottlenecks or give the advantage toeither buyers or sellers.  This can be used to studythe effects of bottlenecks and extreme marketconditions.!004               Simulating Incomplete Networks.   If the user wishes to have incomplete networks thensome transmission capacities can be set to zero.  Inthis event events in the simulator will proceed as ifthere is no connection between the buyer and seller forwhich transmission capacity is set to zero.!005
