HTML2POP3

HTML2POP3 is a virtual POP3, SMTP and NNTP server.

All these protocols are virtualized with HTTP comunication, this
means that you can connect with a real POP3 server that get
all your commands and call a remote HTTP server, get the information
you need and transform it in valid POP3 reply.

These tecnique is expanded to all the protocol emulated by HTML2POP3

POP3:
  1) virtualize some HTTP Webmail giving a real POP3 interface
  2) offer a POP3 tunneling to any real POP3 server
  3) Support RSS to POP3 automatic conversion

SMTP:
  1) offer a SMTP tunneling to any real SMTP server

NNTP:
  1) Emulate a NNTP server using google newsgroup

All server are plugin based, for extend in an easy way the functionalities
of the program

All the program is open source, and java written.

Opensource server side component are written in php

Tunneling with generic POP3 plugin
----------------------------------
If you want you can use a HTTP tunneling to comunicate with your POP3
remote server

Login   : pop3;your_login;pop3_server[;pop3_port[;php_page_server]]
Password: your_password
Server  : localhost, or the address where is HTML2POP3
Port    : 110, or the port used

This plugin call, with HTTP protocol, baccan.it, that call remote
POP3 server with POP3 protocol. Get result, and give an HTTP reply
to remote client.

ATTENTION: you can use a different server and dont' use baccan.it for
tunneling, putting PHP server pages included in HTML2POP3 to anoter
server and configurating php_page_server in a different way
