Project Update:
We have completed the literature survey and we have a basic outline
of the simulator structure.
(Dec 1) We have completed the single antenna OFDM system with
adaptive modulation. The following blocks are part of the design:
Adaptive Bit Allocation
QAM Modulation (1, 2, 4, 16, 64, 256 QAM finite modulation order)
Circular Prefix and FFT
Channel Simulator
Remove Prefix and IFFT
Zero-forcing ML Decoding
(Dec 9) We have completed the MIMO OFDM system with adaptive
modulation. This includes
precoder
shaper
matrix channel formulation
a fully functional variable rate variable power modulator.
Further, we have implemented selection diversity at the transmitter,
and fixed OFDM for comparison purposes.

Dec 9th 2001: Have Implemented the MIMO System
Dec 13th 2001: Completed Project Report
