Rule:--Sid:1037--Summary:This event is generated when an attempt is made to access the showcode.asp file. --Impact:Intelligence gathering.  This attack may permit viewing of files on the vulnerable server.--Detailed Information:Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) 4.0 has sample files that instruct web developers on the use of Active Server Pages (ASP).  One particular sample file, 'showcode.asp', allows files to be viewed on the vulnerable server.
