README: PPVisualPPVisualization: visualization routines for MATLAB*P----------------------------------------------------This package was implemented by Jack HOlloway (holloway@mit.edu),Adnan Sulejmanpasic (adnans@graphics.lcs.mit.edu), and Oskar Bruening(ernst@mit.edu) as a final project for Professor A. Edelman's "AppliedParallel Computing" course (18.337J/6.338J/SMA 5505) at MIT during thespring of 2002.There are a number of source code and MATLAB figure & "dot-m" filesincluded in this tarball. Along with those files (mainly in the<base>/matlab/ and <base>/packages/ directories), there is an includedPPVISUAL_total.diff. This file contains a concatinated listing ofpatch files needed to patch a few core MATLAB*P files to provide extrafunctionality (as well as patches to add the PPVisualization packagesto the build process).There are three new pieces of user-land software available to users:      - ppspy(ddense) :: a spy routine for ddense matricies.      - ppsurf(ddense) :: a surf routine for ddense matricies.      - ppmesh(ddense) :: a mesh routine for ddense matricies.They are relatively straight forward to use, including their ownGUI. Also included are the ppsurf_test.m and ppspy_test.m files (in<base>/matlab/) which can be poked at to see exactly how the MATLAB*Ppackage code is interfaced with MATLAB.
