water temperature control system uses the Single Chip Microcomputer to carry on temperature real-time gathering and controling. DS18B20, digitized temperature sensor, provides the temperature signal by "a main line". In -10~+85℃ the scope, DS18B20’s inherent measuring accuracy is 0.5 ℃. The water temperature real-time control system uses the electricity nichrome wire carring on temperature increiseament and operates the electric fan to realize the temperature decrease control. The system has the higher measuring accuracy and the control precision, it ALSO can complete the elevation of temperature and the temperature decrease control.
MPEG TS Utils application provides the user with a visual representation of the multiplexed stream structure of MPEG-2 Transport Streams (ISO/IEC 13818-1). The application allows the user to investigate the basic transport stream packets with their fields. The application ALSO allows the user to manipulate with transport streams by filtering specified PIDs and exporting to file, demultiplexing to PES and ES streams, converting multi-program TS to single-program TS.
This application report describes the use of Timer_A3 to decode RC5 and SIRC TV IR remote control signals. The decoder described in this report is interrupt-driven and operates a background function using specific features the Timer_A3. Only a small portion of the MSP430 CPU?s nonreal-time resources is used. Specific hardware bit-latching capabilities of the Timer_A3 module are used for real-time decoding of the IR data signal, independent
and asynchronous to the CPU. CPU activity and power consumption are kept to an absolute minimum level. The Timer_A3 decoder implementation ALSO allows other tasks to occur simultaneously if required. The solutions provided are written specifically for MSP430x11x(1) and MSP430x12x derivatives, but can be adapted to any other MSP430 incorporating Timer_A3.

not only demonstrates the basics of using the Microsoft Foundation classes
but is ALSO a starting point for writing your application
This submission includes the presentation and model files that were used in delivering a webinar on 12-15-05 that covered the topic of modeling Hybrid Electric Vehicles.
Hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) have proven they can substantially improve fuel economy and reduce emissions. Because HEVs combine an electric drive with the internal combustion engine (ICE) in the powertrain, the vehicle?s kinetic energy can be captured during braking and transformed into electrical energy in the battery. The dual power source ALSO means that the ICE can be reduced in size and can operate at its most efficient speeds.
New users and old of optimization in MATLAB will find useful tips and tricks in this document, as well as examples one can use as templates for their own problems.
Use this tool by editing the file optimtips.m, then execute blocks of code in cell mode from the editor, or best, publish the file to HTML. Copy and paste ALSO works of course.
Some readers may find this tool valuable if only for the function pleas - a partitioned least squares solver based on lsqnonlin.
This is a work in progress, as I fully expect to add new topics as I think of them or as suggestions are made. Suggestions for topics I ve missed are welcome, as are corrections of my probable numerous errors. The topics currently covered are listed below
This library allows creating, modifying and extracting zip archives in the compatible way with PKZIP (2.5 and higher) and WinZip. Supported are all possible operations on the zip archive: creating, extracting, adding, deleting files from the archive, modifications of the existing archive. There is ALSO the support for creating and extracting multiple disk archives (on non-removable devices as well) and for password encryption and decryption. This module uses compression and decompression functions from zlib library by Jean-loup Gailly and Mark Adler.
The LabVIEW Development Guidelines describe many of the issues that
arise when developing large applications. The guidelines are based on the
advice of LabVIEW developers, and provide a basic survey of software
engineering techniques you might find useful when developing your
own projects.
There is ALSO a discussion of style for creating VIs. Developers who have
used LabVIEW and are comfortable in the LabVIEW environment can use
the LabVIEW Development Guidelines to maintain a consistent and
effective style in their projects.

The release of the Microsoft Visual Studio .NET (and Visual C++ .NET in particular) has underscored Microsoft’s increasing focus on Internet technologies, which are at the heart of the Microsoft .NET architecture. In addition to supporting the .NET initiative, Visual C++ .NET keeps all the productivity-boosting features you’re familiar with, such as Edit And Continue, IntelliSense, AutoComplete, and code tips. Visual C++ .NET ALSO includes many new features such as managed code extensions for .NET programming, support for attributed code, and a more consistent development environment. These features take Visual C++ .NET to a new level. This book will get you up to speed on the latest technologies introduced into Visual C++.
We address the problem of blind carrier frequency-offset (CFO) estimation in quadrature amplitude modulation,
phase-shift keying, and pulse amplitude modulation
communications systems. We study the performance of a standard
CFO estimate, which consists of first raising the received signal to
the Mth power, where M is an integer depending on the type and
size of the symbol constellation, and then applying the nonlinear
least squares (NLLS) estimation approach. At low signal-to noise
ratio (SNR), the NLLS method fails to provide an accurate CFO
estimate because of the presence of outliers. In this letter, we derive
an approximate closed-form expression for the outlier probability.
This enables us to predict the mean-square error (MSE) on CFO
estimation for all SNR values. For a given SNR, the new results
ALSO give insight into the minimum number of samples required in
the CFO estimation procedure, in order to ensure that the MSE
on estimation is not significantly affected by the outliers.
