The purpose of this document is to present how to use the Timer for the Generation of a PWM signal tunable in frequency and duty cycle. As an application example, this document is based on a basic “music” synthesizer through an external buzzer. Example code is also available in the it.
This the source for a C compiler that generates 386 or
m68K code. Code Generation is fairly good although the optimizer is
a little naive... the code itself should be highly portable although
there are some issues involved with porting from MSDOS that have to
be resolved for example the size of LONG on unix machines is so big
some of the code generated gets messed up.
The Cryptography API: Next Generation(CNG) is a new and agile framework in Windows Vista, which implements an extensible provider model that allows you to load a provider by specifying the required cryptographic algorithm rather than having to hardcode a specific provider.
Recent advances in experimental methods have resulted in the Generation
of enormous volumes of data across the life sciences. Hence clustering and
classification techniques that were once predominantly the domain of ecologists
are now being used more widely. This book provides an overview of these
important data analysis methods, from long-established statistical methods
to more recent machine learning techniques. It aims to provide a framework
that will enable the reader to recognise the assumptions and constraints that
are implicit in all such techniques. Important generic issues are discussed first
and then the major families of algorithms are described. Throughout the focus
is on explanation and understanding and readers are directed to other resources
that provide additional mathematical rigour when it is required. Examples
taken from across the whole of biology, including bioinformatics, are provided
throughout the book to illustrate the key concepts and each technique’s
potential.
After the successful global introduction during the past decade of the second Generation (2G) digital
mobile communications systems, it seems that the third Generation (3G) Universal Mobile Communication
System (UMTS) has finally taken off, at least in some regions. The plethora of new services that
are expected to be offered by this system requires the development of new paradigms in the way scarce
radio resources should be managed. The Quality of Service (QoS) concept, which introduces in a natural
way the service differentiation and the possibility of adapting the resource consumption to the specific
service requirements, will open the door for the provision of advanced wireless services to the mass
market.
The TMS320LF240xA and TMS320LC240xA devices, new members of the TMS320C24x Generation of
digital signal processor (DSP) controllers, are part of the TMS320C2000 platform of fixed-point DSPs. The
240xA devices offer the enhanced TMS320 DSP architectural design of the C2xx core CPU for low-cost,
low-power, and high-performance processing capabilities. Several advanced peripherals, optimized for digital
motor and motion control applications, have been integrated to provide a true single-chip DSP controller. While
code-compatible with the existing C24x DSP controller devices, the 240xA offers increased processing
performance (40 MIPS) and a higher level of peripheral integration. See the TMS320x240xA Device Summary
section for device-specific features.
