Introduction:
Are you an MFC programmer? Good. There are two types of MFC programmers. What kind are you? The first kind are the good programmers who write programs that conform to the way MFC wants you to do things. The second bunch are wild-eyed anarchists who insist on getting things done their way. Me, I’m in the second group. If you are in the same boat (or would like to be) this book is for you.
This book won’t teach you MFC—not in the traditional sense. You should pick it up with a good understanding of basic MFC programming and a desire to do things differently. This isn’t a Scribble tutorial (although I will review some fundamentals in the first chapter). You will learn how to wring every drop from your MFC programs. You’ll discover how to use, abuse, and abandon the document/view architecture. If you’ve ever wanted custom archives, you’ll find that, too.
This a program to implement the so-called "dancing link" which is introduced in Knuth s paper. This is really a super
acrobatic and I am sure that not many programmers can understand the algorithms.

Stan has taken a very broad and complicated topic and reduced it to the essentials that budding C++ programmers need to know to write real programs. GameForge is a graphical tool used to aid in the design and creation of video games. It attempts to bring game development down to a level that any computer savvy user can understand, without requiring masterful programming ability. A user with limited Microsoft DirectX and/or Visual C++ programming knowledge will be able to construct a basic, 2-D arcade game. GameForge limits the amount of actual code written by the user, if not eliminating it completely. It will also assist experienced programmers in generating the Microsoft DirectX and Microsoft Windows9x overhead necessary for basic game construction, allowing them to concentrate on more detailed game design issues and implementation.
Using a holistic approach to teaching developers the ins-and-outs of GNU/Linux programming using APIs, tools, communication, and scripting, this book introduces programmers to the environment from the lowest layers to the user layers.
This note describes some key aspects of what C++ is and of how C++ has developed over the years. The spective is that of an experienced C++ user looking at C++ as a practical tool. No attempts are made to compare C++ to other languages, though I have
