COMPONENT

簡而言之，組件就是對象。C++Builder中叫組件，Delphi中叫部件，而在VisualBASIC中叫控件。組件是對數據和方法的簡單封裝。C++Builder中，一個組件就是一個從TCOMPONENT派生出來的特定對象。組件可以有自己的屬性和方法。屬性是組件數據的簡單訪問者。方法則是組件的一些簡單而可見的功能。組件是C++Builder環境中最令人激動的部分。使用組件可以實現拖放式編程、快速的屬性處理以及真正的面向對象的設計。VCL和CLX組件是C++Builder系統的核心。

    眾所周知，C++Builder本身并不提供串行通訊控件MSComm，但我們卻可以通過注冊后直接使用它。啟動C++Builder5.0后，然后選擇C++Builder主菜單中的COMPONENT菜單項，單擊Import Active Control命令，彈出Import Active窗口，選擇Microsoft Comm Control6.0，再選擇Install按鈕執行安裝命令,系統將自動進行編譯,編譯完成后即完成MSComm控件在C++Builder中的注冊,系統默認安裝在控件板的Active頁,接下來我們就可以像使用C++Builder本身提供的控件那樣使用新注冊的MSComm控件了。（前提條件是你的機子上安裝了Visual Basic，或者有它的庫）
