The purpose of this computer program is to allow the user to construct, train and test differenttypes of artificial neural networks. By implementing the CONCEPTs of templates, inheritance andderived classes from C++ object oriented programming, the necessity for declaring multiple largestructures and duplicate attributes is reduced. Utilizing dynamic binding and memory allocationafforded by C++, the user can choose to develop four separate types of neural networks:
- XCS for Dynamic Environments
+ Continuous versions of XCS
+ Test problem: real multiplexer
+ Experiments: XCS is explored in dynamic environments with different magnitudes of change to the underlying CONCEPTs.

Most code samples included on this CD were developed with Microsoft Visual C++ version 5.0 and the Microsoft Windows CE Toolkit for Visual C++ version 5.0. The Sspi and Crypto samples were developed with Microsoft Visual C++ version 6.0 and the Microsoft Windows CE Toolkit for Visual C++ 6.0. The code in sample applications is ported for a Handheld PC, but the programming CONCEPTs that are presented apply to all Windows CE-based platforms.
