Windows中負(fù)責(zé)圖形輸出的是GDI(即Graphic Device Interface，圖形設(shè)備接口)。這是Windows與硬件無(wú)關(guān)的圖形輸出模式的體現(xiàn)。GDI建立在硬件抽象層(HAL)之上,屏蔽了不同輸出設(shè)備之間的差異,從而為用戶提供了一個(gè)統(tǒng)一的“標(biāo)準(zhǔn)輸出設(shè)備”。但是，與DOS不同，Windows是多任務(wù)、進(jìn)程獨(dú)立的，每一個(gè)窗口都應(yīng)該有一個(gè)獨(dú)立的輸出通道。這樣，GDI又使用了一種簡(jiǎn)單的機(jī)制來(lái)保證在窗口中畫(huà)圖的不同程序之間能共享“設(shè)備”而又互不干擾。這個(gè)機(jī)制就是DC(Device Context，設(shè)備描述表)。

A "code-what"? Unless you have spent some time working in the area of reverse engineering, chances are you have not heard of the term "codecave" before. If you have heard of it, you might not have read a clear definition of it or quite understand what it is or why it is useful. I have even asked seasoned assembly programmers about the term before and most of them had not heard of it. If it is new to you, do not worry, you are not the only one.
