This is a collection of m-files I created to complete a research project into the DC components of various encoding techniques. Eight of the files create random bit sequences that conform to their coding requirements. The others were files I found useful in the scope of the project and supplement the generating m-files.

This programme is to control DC motor in a certain speed using PWM. The target speed is "r", it is the speed in 1s. The sample rate is 0.1s, so the actual speed target is "rc"=r/10. The "r" and "rc" are integer, and the range of "r" is from 50 to 100. Keep rc=r/10!!! The array "speed1" and "speed2" are the control result, in 0.1s and 1s. The length of "speed1" is 2400, and "speed2" is 240. The "pw" and "nw" are the parameters of PWM. The test will last 4 min.

The FPGA can realize a more optimized Digital controller in DC/DC Converters when compare to DSPs. In this paper, based on the FPGA platform, The theoretical analysis, characteristics, simulation and design consideration are given. The methods to implement the digital DC/DC Converters have been researched. The function module, state machine of digital DC/DC controller and high resolution DPWM with Sigma- Delta dither has been introduced. They are verified by experiments on a 20 W, 300 KHz non-isolated synchronous buck converters.

The purpose of this application note is to show an example of how a digital potentiometer can be used in thefeedback loop of a step-up DC-DC converter to provide calibration and/or adjustment of the output voltage.The example circuit uses a MAX5025 step-up DC-DC converter (capable of generating up to 36V,120mWmax) in conjunction with a DS1845, 256 position, NV digital potentiometer. For this example, the desiredoutput voltage is 32V, which is generated from an input supply of 5V. The output voltage can be adjusted in35mV increments (near 32V) and span a range wide enough to account for resistance, potentiometer and DCDCconverter tolerances (27.6V to 36.7V).

Abstract: The DS1875 features a pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller that can be used to control aDC-DC converter. The DC-DC converter can then be used to generate the high bias voltages necessaryfor avalanche photodiodes (APDs). This application note describes the operation of a boost converterthat uses the DS1875. Discussion covers the selection of the inductor and switching frequency, and theselection of components that improve the efficiency of the converter. Test data are presented.

When a system designer specifies a nonisolated dc/dc powermodule, considering the needed input voltage range isequally as important as considering the required performanceattributes and features. Generally, nonisolated moduleshave either a narrow or a wide input voltage range. Narrowinputmodules typically have a nominal input voltage of3.3, 5, or 12 V. For systems that operate from a tightlyregulated input bus—such as those that do not use batterybackup—a narrow-input module is often adequate sincethe input remains fairly stable.Offering greater flexibility, wide-input modules operatewithin a range of 7 to 36 V, which includes the popular12- or 24-V industrial bus. This enables a single module tobe used for generating multiple voltages. DESCRIPTION The DCP0105 family is a series of high efficiency, 5V input isolated DC/DC converters. In addition to 1W nominal galvanically isolated output power capability, the range of DC/DCs are also fully synchronizable. The devices feature thermal shutdown, and overload protection is implemented via watchdog circuitry. Advanced power-on reset techniques give superior reset performance and the devices will start into any capacitive load up to full power output.
