I have build my own programmer. This device can program the AT89C51 and works with it. So it can easily be adapted to programming other devices by itself.
The Atmel Flash devices are ideal for developing, since they can be reprogrammed easy, often and fast. You need only 1 or 2 devices in low cost plastic case for developing. In contrast you need 10 or more high cost windowed devices if you must develop with EPROM devices (e.g. Phillips 87C751).
Writing an Input Module
The sample module introduced here is called idiom (Input Device for Intercepting Output of Mice), The sample module registers itself with the USB kernel subsystem as a mouse driver and with the input management subsystem as a keyboard driver. idiom translates mouse movement events into keyboard input events: it reports arrow events to the input system according to how the physical mouse is moved.

This the fourth edition of the Writing Device Drivers articles. This article will introduce the idea of device stacks and how devices interact with each other. We will use the previously created example device driver to demonstrate this topic. To do this we will introduce the idea of a “filter” driver in which we will create to attach to our own driver’s device stack.
This device driver implements KMDF based virtual bus driver and generic virtual disk hosted on it. Users can add virtual disks to Windows OS which are then seen and managed by OS as generic, regular disks. Virtual disks are plug in/out with cmdln utility.
This sample provides an implementation of simple Bluetooth device discovery
via the Winsock 2 API. It provides a listbox control which, when searching
is complete, lists the discovered Bluetooth devices. Only names of the devices
are displayed, but the addresses of the devices are also retrieved, and can
be used to query the devices for more information (not implemented)
The usage of devices in a communication network requires configuration of the device parameters
and communication facilities. CANopen defines a standardised way to access these parameters
Hid Led Tester is a simple USB(interrupt mode)device tester package. There are firmware and software in it. Hid Led tester follows USB HID protocol, we don’t need to install driver for the device, and Windows (Win 2000 and later) will install the device automatic.
