unRAR - free utility for RAR archives
The unRAR utility is a freeware program, distributed with source code and developed for Extracting, testing and viewing the contents of archives created with the RAR archiver, version 1.50 and above.
A general technique for the recovery of signicant
image features is presented. The technique is based on
the mean shift algorithm, a simple nonparametric pro-
cedure for estimating density gradients. Drawbacks of
the current methods (including robust clustering) are
avoided. Feature space of any nature can be processed,
and as an example, color image segmentation is dis-
cussed. The segmentation is completely autonomous,
only its class is chosen by the user. Thus, the same
program can produce a high quality edge image, or pro-
vide, by Extracting all the signicant colors, a prepro-
cessor for content-based query systems. A 512 512
color image is analyzed in less than 10 seconds on a
standard workstation. Gray level images are handled
as color images having only the lightness coordinate
Title: File Transfer client and server
Description: Send or recieve files of any size or type between you and a peer. Displays bytes sent or recieved, return values of send() and recv(), bitrate in KBytes/sec, and time remaining. SendFile and RecvFile functions can easily be added and used in your own code. I tested it ofcourse, a 73 mb self Extracting rar archive from South Korea to Massachusetts at 96KB/s arrived fully operational.
This paper addresses the subject of SQL Injection in a Microsoft SQL Server/IIS/Active
Server Pages environment, but most of the techniques discussed have equivalents in other
database environments. It should be viewed as a "follow up", or perhaps an appendix, to
the previous paper, "Advanced SQL Injection".
The paper covers in more detail some of the points described in its predecessor, providing
examples to clarify areas where the previous paper was perhaps unclear. An effective
method for privilege escalation is described that makes use of the openrowset function to
scan a network. A novel method for Extracting information in the absence of helpful
error messages is described the use of time delays as a transmission channel. Finally, a
number of miscellaneous observations and useful hints are provided, collated from
responses to the original paper, and various conversations around the subject of SQL
injection in a SQL Server environment.
Smart Grids provide many benefits for society. Reliability, observability across the
energy distribution system and the exchange of information between devices are just
some of the features that make Smart Grids so attractive. One of the main products of
a Smart Grid is to data. The amount of data available nowadays increases fast and carries
several kinds of information. Smart metres allow engineers to perform multiple
measurements and analyse such data. For example, information about consumption,
power quality and digital protection, among others, can be extracted. However, the main
challenge in Extracting information from data arises from the data quality. In fact, many
sectors of the society can benefit from such data. Hence, this information needs to be
properly stored and readily available. In this chapter, we will address the main concepts
involving Technology Information, Data Mining, Big Data and clustering for deploying
information on Smart Grids.
