This file contains a new and improved version of the Huffman coder, (June 29. 2001). The name is Huff06.m. There are also some additional files which are helpful when using Matlab for data compression: quantizer, different variants of run-length-encoding and end-of-block coding in Mat2Vec, and a program which do JPEG-like entropy coding. A complete compression example is shown in TestMat2Vec.m. This file is all you need for Huffman coding in MatLab.
This application report introduces and describes an MP3 /AAC audio player for use with the TMS320C54x(TM) digital signal processor (DSP) devices. This audio player is based on Reference Framework Level 3 (RF3). The Spectral Toolkit is a C++ spectral transform library written by Rodney James and Chuck Panaccione while at the National Center for Atmospheric Research between 2002 and 2005. The library contains a functional subset of FFTPACK and SPHEREPACK, including real and complex FFTs in 1-3 dimensions, and a spherical harmonic transform. Multithreading is supported through POSIX threads for the multidimensional transforms. This reference guide provides details of the public interface as well as the internal implementation of the library.
