This GLib version 2.16.1. GLib is the low-level core
library that forms the basis for projects such as GTK+ and GNOME. It

The DHRY program performs the dhrystone benchmarks on the 8051.
Dhrystone is a general-performance benchmark test originally
developed by Reinhold Weicker in 1984. This benchmark is
used to measure and compare the performance of different
computers or, in this case, the efficiency of the code
generated for the same computer by different compilers.
The test reports general performance in dhrystones per second.
Like most benchmark programs, dhrystone consists of standard
code and concentrates on string Handling. It uses no
floating-point operations. It is heavily influenced by
hardware and software design, compiler and linker options,
code optimizing, cache memory, wait states, and integer
data types.
The DHRY program is available in different targets:
Simulator: Large Model: DHRY example in LARGE model

1.1 異常分類
基于Dr. GUI 的建議，我把我的第一個專欄投入到“程序異常”的系列上。我認識到，
“exception”這個術語有些不明確并和上下文相關，尤其是C++標準異常（C++ standard
exceptions）和Microsoft 的結構化異常（structured exception Handling）。不幸的的是，
“異常”一詞太常見了，隨時出現在語言的標準和常見的編程文獻中。因為不想創造一個新
名詞，所以我將盡力在此系列的各部分中明確我對“異常”的用法。
Part 1 概述通常意義上的異常的性質，和標準C 庫提供的處理它們的方法。
Part 2 縱覽Microsoft 對這些標準C 庫方法的擴展：專門的宏和結構化異常處理。
Part 3 及其余將致力于標準C++異常處理體系。

This book is an introduction to Ada 95. It uses an example-driven approach which gradually develops small trivial programs into large case-study type programs. The main emphasis of this book is on maintenance problems, and using object-oriented technology to write maintainable, extensible programs. Program design is introduced throughout the book, with hypothetical maintenance scenarios used to shoe design shortcomings. and revise them to accomodate maintenance needs. Practical issues such as debugging programs are tackled, and important Ada features not found in other languages are dealt with practically and early on in the text. These include exception Handling, user-defined types, procedures, functions, packages and child packages.

Discussing embedded systems in general is difficult, because each embedded system is unique. Rather than presenting a list of general principles for Handling embedded development issues, this book presents examples of problems encountered and solutions to those problems using real hardware and software. In that sense, it is a “cookbook” for developers that offers design “recipes” that can be elaborated on or modified as needed to solve other design problems.
