In the bank all the activities are being done manually .As the bank widens its services & it finds difficult to manage its operations manually and hence this leads to the automation of some of its operations.
Banking Information system is a windows based applications. This project mainly deals with managing there types of account such as Saving Account, Current Account and Recurring Deposits .
In this project bank is seeking to manage these account through computer based system.
Tasks involved in this project are opening the user accounts , recording the account holders transactions , modify, the user records and generating the reports .

OTSU Gray-level image segmentation using Otsu s method.
Iseg = OTSU(I,n) computes a segmented image (Iseg) containing n classes
by means of Otsu s n-thresholding method (Otsu N, A Threshold Selection
Method from Gray-Level Histograms, IEEE Trans. Syst. Man Cybern.
9:62-66 1979). Thresholds are computed to maximize a separability
criterion of the resultant classes in gray levels.
OTSU(I) is equivalent to OTSU(I,2). By default, n=2 and the
corresponding Iseg is therefore a binary image. The pixel values for
Iseg are [0 1] if n=2, [0 0.5 1] if n=3, [0 0.333 0.666 1] if n=4, ...
[Iseg,sep] = OTSU(I,n) returns the value (sep) of the separability
criterion within the range [0 1]. Zero is obtained only with images

Maya Calendar
During his last sabbatical, professor M. A. Ya made a surprising discovery about the old Maya calendar. From an old knotted message, professor discovered that the Maya civilization used a 365 day long year, called Haab, which had 19 months. Each of the first 18 months was 20 days long, and the names of the months were pop, no, zip, zotz, tzec, xul, yoxkin, mol, chen, yax, zac, ceh, mac, kankin, muan, pax, koyab, cumhu. Instead of Having names, the days of the months were denoted by numbers starting from 0 to 19. The last month of Haab was called uayet and had 5 days denoted by numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4. The Maya believed that this month was unlucky, the court of justice was not in session, the trade stopped, people did not even sweep the floor.

The first Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) Wideband Code Division
Multiple Access (WCDMA) networks were launched during 2002. By the end of 2005
there were 100 open WCDMA networks and a total of over 150 operators Having
frequency licenses for WCDMA operation. Currently, the WCDMA networks are
deployedinUniversalMobileTelecommunicationsSystem(UMTS)bandaround2GHz
in Europe and Asia including Japan and Korea. WCDMA in America is deployed in the
existing 850 and 1900 spectrum allocations while the new 3G band at 1700/2100 is
expected to be available in the near future. 3GPP has defined the WCDMA operation
also for several additional bands, which are expected to be taken into use during the
coming years.

With the rapid expansion of wireless consumer products,there has been a con-
siderable increase in the need for radio-frequency (RF) planning, link plan-
ning, and propagation modeling.A network designer with no RF background
may find himself/herself designing a wireless network. A wide array of RF
planning software packages can provide some support, but there is no substi-
tute for a fundamental understanding of the propagation process and the lim-
itations of the models employed. Blind use of computer-aided design (CAD)
programs with no understanding of the physical fundamentals underlying the
process can be a recipe for disaster. Having witnessed the results of this
approach, I hope to spare others this frustration.
