由于高重復(fù)頻率固體開(kāi)關(guān)在加速器、雷達(dá)發(fā)射機(jī)、高功率微波和污染控制等領(lǐng)域存在的潛在優(yōu)勢(shì)，美國(guó)、英國(guó)、日本和韓國(guó)等都對(duì)固體開(kāi)關(guān)技術(shù)進(jìn)行了大量研究，從而成為近年脈沖功率界研究的重點(diǎn)1。從固體元件電路結(jié)構(gòu)上，固體開(kāi)關(guān)可以分成兩種類(lèi)型：串聯(lián)結(jié)構(gòu)和累加器結(jié)構(gòu)。采用串聯(lián)結(jié)構(gòu)的固體開(kāi)關(guān)生產(chǎn)廠(chǎng)家中，比較著名的有LLNL（LawrenCE Livermore National Laboratory）和DTI（Diverfisied Technology Inc.），采用累加器結(jié)構(gòu)的廠(chǎng)家中，比較著名的是LLNIL.和美國(guó)的First Point Scientific Ine.B32A我們已經(jīng)研制成功了采用光纖控制的10kV絕緣柵雙極型晶體管（Isolated Gate Bipolar Transistor，IGBT）固體開(kāi)關(guān)，盡管在該固體開(kāi)關(guān)中采用的光纖收發(fā)器比較便宜，但光纖控制部分還是比較昂貴的。在一定的應(yīng)用環(huán)境，如脈沖寬度為幾微秒到十幾微秒，可以采用脈沖變壓器來(lái)控制IGBT。從文獻(xiàn)[1]表明：只要脈沖同步和緩沖電路設(shè)計(jì)適當(dāng)，即可確保固體開(kāi)關(guān)中不會(huì)出現(xiàn)過(guò)壓。盡管脈沖變壓器隔離控制在同步精度和驅(qū)動(dòng)波形一致性方面不如光纖控制，但還是可以用來(lái)控制IGBT固體開(kāi)關(guān)。采用脈沖變壓器控制IGBT的主要優(yōu)點(diǎn)是價(jià)格便宜，但其存在的主要問(wèn)題是輸出脈沖寬度范圍比較有限和絕緣性能如何保證的問(wèn)題。在脈沖變壓器控制的IGBT固體開(kāi)關(guān)中，脈沖變壓器設(shè)計(jì)非常重要，因此下面只討論脈沖變壓器的絕緣問(wèn)題和IGBT固體開(kāi)關(guān)的實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果。
