This submission includes the presentation and model files that were used in delivering a webinar on 12-15-05 that covered the topic of modeling Hybrid Electric Vehicles. Hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) have proven they can substantially improve fuel economy and reduce emissions. Because HEVs combine an electric drive with the internal combustion engine (ICE) in the powertrain, the vehicle?s kinetic energy can be captured during braking and transformed into electrical energy in the battery. The dual power source also means that the ICE can be reduced in size and can operate at its most efficient speeds.

摘 要 基于IP的語(yǔ)音、數(shù)據(jù)、視頻等業(yè)務(wù)在NGN網(wǎng)絡(luò)中所面臨的一個(gè)實(shí)際困難就是如何有效地穿透各種NAT/FW的問(wèn)題。對(duì)此，會(huì)話初始化協(xié)議SIP以往的解決方法有ALGs，STUN，TURN等方式。本文探討了一種新的媒體會(huì)話信令穿透NAT/FW的解決方案—交互式連通建立方式(ICE)。它通過(guò)綜合利用現(xiàn)有協(xié)議，以一種更有效的方式來(lái)組織會(huì)話建立過(guò)程，使之在不增加任何延遲同時(shí)比STUN等單一協(xié)議更具有健壯性、靈活性。本文詳細(xì)介紹了ICE算法，并設(shè)計(jì)一個(gè)實(shí)例針對(duì)SIP信令協(xié)議穿透Symmetric NAT流程進(jìn)行了描述，最后總結(jié)了ICE的優(yōu)勢(shì)及應(yīng)用前景。

We were on the lookout for ice. I was in a 32 foot sailing yacht with writer and explorer Tristan Gooley, undertaking a double-handed sail from Scotland through the Faroes up to 66 33 45.7 N and the midnight sun. Now sailing out of the Arctic Circle we were approaching Iceland from the north, heading for the Denmark Straits, where ice flowed south. The Admiralty Pilot warned of bergs but the ice charts we had sailed with were over a week old. We needed an update.
