This book is a hands-on introduction to the principles and
practice of embedded system design using the PIC microcontroller. Packed
with helpful examples and illustrations, it gives an in-depth treatment of
microcontroller design, programming in both assembly language and C, and
features advanced topics such as networking and real-time OPERATING
systems. It is accompanied by a CD-ROM containing copies of all programs
and software tools used in the text and a `student version of the C
complier
Designing Embedded Systems with PIC Microcontrollers: Principles and
Applications is ideal for students of electronics, mechatronics and
computer engineering. Engineers in industry and informed hobbyists will
also find this book a valuable resource when designing and implementing
both simple and sophisticated embedded systems using the PIC
Microcontroller.

Over the last few years, Linux has grown both as an OPERATING system and a tool for personal and business use. Simultaneously becoming more user friendly and more powerful as a back-end system, Linux has achieved new plateaus: the newer filesystems have solidified, new commands and tools have appeared and become standard, and the desktop--including new desktop environments--have proved to be viable, stable, and readily accessible to even those who don t consider themselves computer gurus.
With this foundation, you explore a development model that addresses the complete range of issues in the design of embedded communications software, including real-time OPERATING systems, hardware and software partitioning, layering, and protocol stacks.
ST7529液晶驅動 The ST7529 is a driver & controller LSI for 32 gray scale graphic dot-matrix liquid crystal display systems. It generates 255
Segment and 160 Common driver circuits. This chip is connected directly to a microprocessor, accepts Serial Peripheral
Interface (SPI), 8-bit/16-bit parallel or IIC display data and stores in an on-chip display data RAM. It performs display data
RAM read/write operation with no external OPERATING clock to minimize power consumption. In addition, because it contains
power supply circuits necessary to drive liquid crystal, it is possible to make a display system with the fewest components.
f your application uses MFC in a shared DLL, and your application is
in a language other than the OPERATING system s current language, you
will need to copy the corresponding localized resources MFC42XXX.DLL
from the Microsoft Visual C++ CD-ROM onto the system or system32 directory,
and rename it to be MFCLOC.DLL. ("XXX" stands for the language abbreviation.
For example, MFC42DEU.DLL contains resources translated to German.) If you
don t do this, some of the UI elements of your application will remain in the
language of the OPERATING system.
『embedded systems building blocks, complete and ready-to-use modules in C, second edition』
- This second edition features revisions that support the latest version of the author s popular OPERATING system and book, MicroC/OS-II - Complete and ready-to-use modules in C Get a clear explanation of functional code modules and microcontroller theory
FIST可堆疊文件系統,linux文件系統修改相關的開源軟件,使得對linux文件系統功能的改進很簡單了
The FiST (File System Translator) system combines two methods to solve the above problems in a novel way: a set of stackable file system templates for each OPERATING system, and a high-level language that can describe stackable file systems in a cross-platform portable fashion. Using FiST, stackable file systems need only be described once. FiST s code generation tool, fistgen, compiles a single file system description into loadable kernel modules for several OPERATING systems (currently Solaris, Linux, and FreeBSD). The project demonstrates that with FiST, code size and development time are reduced significantly, while imposing a small performance overhead of only 1-2%. These benefits are achieved, as well as portability, without changing existing OPERATING systems or file system.
Introduction
A shared library is a collection of functions that are available for use by one or more applications running on a system. On Windows OPERATING systems, the library is compiled into a dynamic link library (.dll) file. At run-time, the library is loaded into memory and made accessible to all applications.
Ideal for large low power (nanoWatt) and connectivity applications that benefit from the availability of four serial ports: double synchronous serial ports (I² C™ and SPI™ ) and double asynchronous (LIN capable) serial ports. Large amounts of RAM memory for buffering and FLASH program memory make it ideal for instrumentation panels, TCP/IP enabled embedded applications as well as metering and industrial control and monitoring applications. While OPERATING up to 40 MHz, it is also backward software and hardware compatible with the PIC18F8720.
