This Handbook, published under the auspices of the Senior NATO
Logisticians’ Conference (SNLC), i s i ntended as a simple guide to logistics i n
NATO. It does not attempt to examine current i ssues or provide answers to the
PRoblems that logisticians will face, but i t rather aims at i ntroducing them to some
of the basic principles, policies, concepts and organisations with which they will
work.

primarily intended as a teaching tool for introductory type courses in finite
elements - probably in the mechanical/structural/civil fields. In a command
line environment, FElt uses an intuitive, straightforward input syntax to

workstations that allows the user to set-up, solve and post-process the
problem in a single CAD-like environment.
FreeFEM is an implementation of the GFEM language dedicated
to the finite element method. It provides you a way to solve Partial
Differential Equations (PDE) simply. Although you can solve quite complicated
PRoblems can be solved also.
