Data Structures and Problem Solving Using C++ provides an introduction to data structures and algorithms from the viewpoint of abstract thinking and problem solving, as well as the use of C++. It is a complete Revision of Weiss successful CS2 book Algorithms, Data Structures, and Problem Solving with C++.
Fortran has always been the principal language used in the fields of scientific,
numerical, and engineering programming, and a series of Revisions to the standard
defining successive versions of the language has progressively enhanced its power
and kept it competitive with several generations of rivals.
Beginning in 1978, the technical committee responsible for the development
of Fortran standards, X3J3 (now called J3), laboured to produce a new, much-
needed modern version of the language, Fortran 90. Its purpose is to "promote
portability, reliability, maintainability, and efficient execution... on a variety of
computing systems". The standard was published in 1991, and work began in
1993 on a minor Revision, known informally as Fortran 95. Now this revised

This Interface Control Document (ICD) defines the requirements related to the interface between the Space Segment (SS) of the Global Positioning System (GPS) and the Navigation User Segment (US) of the GPS.
It has been over a decade since the Chinese publication of Line Loss in Electric Power Systems. To keep pace
with technological developments, I started a Revision as early as 2002, following the main principles that the
theoretical framework and characteristics of the first edition should be retained, with new contents added
according to new problems after the reform of electric power systems and the new requirements for line loss
management practices and in combination with practical experience.
This edition of Digital Image Processing is a major Revision of the book. As in
the 1977 and 1987 editions by Gonzalez and Wintz, and the 1992, 2002, and 2008
editions by Gonzalez and Woods, this sixth-generation edition was prepared
with students and instructors in mind. The principal objectives of the book
continue to be to provide an introduction to basic concepts and methodologies
applicable to digital image processing, and to develop a foundation that can
be used as the basis for further study and research in this field. To achieve
these objectives, we focused again on material that we believe is fundamental
and whose scope of application is not limited to the solution of specialized
problems. The mathematical complexity of the book remains at a level well
within the grasp of college seniors and first-year graduate students who have
introductory preparation in mathematical analysis, vectors, matrices, probability,
statistics, linear systems, and computer programming. The book website provides
tutorials to support readers needing a review of this background material
