This sample demonstrates how to take pictures and videos using the CameraCaptureDialog managed API. If a default filename is used: - if a still picture is taken, the ".jpg" extension is appended to the default filename. (Otherwise the CameraCaptureDialog would throw an InvalidArgumentException). - if a video is recorded, null is passed to the CameraCaptureDialog as the default filename. The filename returned is then renamed to match the user entered filename while keeping the extension returned.

This program compress and recostruct using wavelets. We can select level of decomposition(here maximum 4 levels are given) of images using selected wavelet. For eg:-wavelets can be haar, db1, db2,dmey............... Decomposition can be viewed in figure. (Please note that select 256X256 image for better result.) Then compression can performed, PERFL2 give compression score. Then reconstruction can be performed. Each decompsition we can choose different threshold values. For each threshold value we can calculate mse,psnr,pq(picture quality), bit ratio etc. To get pq install pqs function .

It also shows you how you can reduce the size of your programs with a GUI by using blocks of images and absolutely positioning and stretching them to create a dialog box, rather than making the whole dialog box in a graphics program and setting it as the Picture property of the Form. Another advantage of using image blocks is that you can resize this form to virtually any size and the effect will still be the same.
