    This paper examines the asymptotic (large sample) performance of a family of non-data aided feedforward (NDA FF) nonlinear least-squares (NLS) type carrier frequency estimators for burst-mode phase shift keying (PSK) modulations transmitted through AWGN and flat Ricean-fading channels. The asymptotic performance of these estimators is established in closed-form expression and compared with the modified Cram`er-Rao bound (MCRB). A best linear unbiased estimator (BLUE), which exhibits the lowest asymptotic variance within the family of NDA FF NLS-type estimators, is also proposed.

Firstly, the“fake points" could be almost entirely and exactly deleted with the aids of the sensor array at the expense of an additional sensor. Secondly, considered the fact that the measurements notten from each array were independent in passive trackinn system, a novel sequential particle filter usinn sensor array with improved distribution was proposed. At last, in a simulation study we compared this approach a壇orithm with traditional trackinn methods. The simulation re-sups show that the proposed method can nreatly improve the state estimation precision of sensor array passive trackinn system.

    This paper presents a low-power asynchronous implementation of the 80C51 microcontroller. It was realized in a 0.5 µ m CMOS process and it shows a power advantage of a factor 4 compared to a recent synchronous implementation in the same technology. The chip is fully bit compatible with the synchronous implementation, and timing compatible for external memory access. The circuit is a compiled VLSI-program, using Tangram as VLSI-programming language and the Tangram tool set to compile the design automatically to a standard-cell netlist. This design approach proves to be powerful enough to describe the microcontroller and derive an efficient implementation. Further, it offers the designer the possibility to explore various alternatives in the design space.
