These are precompiled dEMonstration programs of the Onix toolkit. They do not include the Onix toolkit but are examples of very simple applications written with the toolkit. They are designed to show both how Onix works and also to show how easy it is to integrate the Onix toolkit into a project. While they show many of the features of the Onix toolkit, they don t show all of them. Please consult our documentation, available at our website, to see many of the features Onix gives you. We have included online the full documentation for the Onix toolkit.

dEMonstration circuit 1562A is an engineering toolto design and evaluate the LTC699X-X family ofTimerBlox circuits. The Maxim Integrated 71M6541-DB REV 3.0 Demo Board is a dEMonstration board for evaluating the 71M6541 device for single-phase electronic energy metering applications in conjunction with the Remote Sensor Inter-face. It incorporates a 71M6541 integrated circuit, a 71M6601 Remote Interface IC, peripheral circuitry such as a serial EEPROM, emulator port, and on-board power supply. A serial to USB converter allows communication to a PC through a USB port. The Demo Board allows the evaluation of the 71M6541 energy meter chip for measurement accuracy and overall system use.

ICA can be used in brain activation studies to reduce the number of dimension and filter out independent and interesting activations. This dEMonstration shows two studies. One provided by Hvidovre Universitets Hospital, Denmark, that consists of fMRI scannings of humans. Another provided by the EU sponsored MAPAWAMO project from fMRI scannings of monkeys. In the demo comparison between icaMS, icaML, icaMF, icaMF (positive sources) and PCA can be made. More detailes can found in [2].

ICA is used to classify text in extension to the latent semantic indexing framework. ICA show to align the context grouping structure well in a human sense [1], thus can be used for unsupervised classification. The dEMonstration shows this on medical abstracts (MED dataset), that uses BIC to estimate the number of classes and produces keywords for each class. The icaML algorithm is used.
