LemonSMS is a component developed in Java that provides a turnkey solution for application developers to incorporate into their Java applications the functionality of sending and processing of incoming SMS messages.
LemonSMS acts as a middleware between a Java application and a GSM Modem or Data enabled phone. Because LemonSMS only provides an interface to the added SMS functionality, your application still handles access to data and business logic tier. With the easy-to-use LemonSMS API, developers can easily utilize SMS functionalities provided by LemonSMS.
利用SyncML開發客戶端程序的中間件,J2ME版本。
This library is a collection of basic utilities for: object serialization
and persistence on the RMS, Logging and string manipulation.
This document describes the Funambol JavaME Common API library, which purpose is giving support and
providing basic functionalities to all the other components developed for the J2ME platform. These
functionalities are: a persistent data storage framework, a logging framework, a framework to read different
streams of byte, a thread monitoring system and a set of classes useful for data encoding and string
manipulation. This library may grow in future, as new functions will be seen as common to different J2ME
components.
This is a simple algorithm that downloads trading data from yahoo database. It is basically a large scale application of sqq.m which was originally submitted by Michael Boldin, link at acknowledgements.
Some of the functionalities of the package:
- User defined ticker list.
- Function for downloading most recent SP500 composition in ticker list.
- Control for bad data (e.g. a certain percentage of prices missing).
- Choice of frequency of data (e.g. weekly prices).
- Choice of starting and ending data.
- Function for saving the whole data in a pre-formatted excel file together with a full reports on missing data.
Rotation tool, totates a single image contained in HANDLE.HANDLE can be a handle to figure, axes, or image object.
This GUI is a pure imitation of ROTATEGUI from Birju Patel and uses some code from that function. However, it has extended functionalities and was re-writen using R13 syntax. Which means that it can be compiled with the V3.x compiler.
A major societal challenge for the decades to come will be the delivery of effective
medical services while at the same time curbing the growing cost of healthcare.
It is expected that new concepts-particularly electronically assisted healthcare will
provide an answer. This will include new devices, new medical services as well
as networking. On the device side, impressive innovation has been made possible
by micro- and nanoelectronics or CMOS Integrated Circuits. Even higher accuracy
and smaller form factor combined with reduced cost and increased convenience
of use are enabled by incorporation of CMOS IC design in the realization of biomedical
systems. The compact hearing aid devices and current pacemakers are
good examples of how CMOS ICs bring about these new functionalities and services
in the medical field. Apart from these existing applications, many researchers
are trying to develop new bio-medical solutions such as Artificial Retina, Deep
Brain Stimulation, and Wearable Healthcare Systems. These are possible by combining
the recent advances of bio-medical technology with low power CMOS IC
technology.
The telecommunications industry has seen a rapid boost within the last decade. New realities
and visions of functionalities in various telecommunications networks have brought forward the
concept of next-generation networks (NGNs). The competitions among operators for support-
ing various services, lowering of the cost of having mobile and cellular phones and smartphones,
increasing demand for general mobility, explosion of digital traffic, and advent of convergence
network technologies added more dynamism in the idea of NGNs. In fact, facilitating con-
vergence of networks and convergence of various types of services is a significant objective of
NGN
Smartphones have become a key element in providing greater user access to the
mobile Internet. Many complex applications which used to be limited to PCs, have
been developed and operated on smartphones. These applications extend the
functionalities of smartphones, making them more convenient for users to be
connected. However, they also greatly increase the power consumption of
smartphones, making users frustrated with long delays in Web browsing.
