xl2tpd is an implementation of the Layer 2 Tunnelling Protocol (RFC 2661).
L2TP allows you to tunnel PPP over UDP. Some ISPs use L2TP to tunnel user
sessions from dial-in servers (modem banks, ADSL DSLAMs) to back-end PPP
servers. Another important application is Virtual Private Networks where
the IPsec protocol is used to secure the L2TP connection (L2TP/IPsec,
RFC 3193). The L2TP/IPsec protocol is mainly used by Windows and
Mac OS X clients. On Linux, xl2tpd can be used in combination with IPsec
implementations such as Openswan.
mkdosfs - Make DOS file system utilty.
I wrote this, partially to complement the dosfsck utility written by Werner
Almesberger (who graciously gave me some pointers when I asked for some
advice about writing this code), and also to avoid me having to boot DOS
just to create data partitions (I use Linux to back up DOS :-) ).
This is a desktop application written in java which sends email using gmail smtp. You do not need to go to the browser to send email. If you do not have a gmail account that is ok too because you can send email by a default account and of course by your own account. You need jdk 1.6 or higher to run it.
