JLAB is a set of Matlab functions I have written or co-written over the past fifteen years for the purpose of analyzing data. It consists of four hundred m-files spanning thirty thousand lines of code. JLAB includes functions ranging in complexity from one-line aliases to high-level algorithms for certain specialized tasks. These have been collected together and made publicly available for you to use, modify, and --- subject to certain very reasonable constraints --- to redistribute.
Some of the highlights are: a suite of functions for the rapid manipulation of multi-component, potentially multi-dimensional datasets a systematic way of dealing with datasets having components of non-uniform length tools for fine-tuning figures using compact, straightforward statements and specialized functions for spectral and time / frequency analysis, including advanced wavelet algorithms developed by myself and collaborators.
RFID, the wireless technology that has helped
millions of people around the world to protect their property and
make their workplaces safer is now in danger of being viewed as a
security risk. Ray Stanton examines the love-hate relationship
between people and Radio Frequency Identification [RFID] tags and
highlights the need for informed debate about the privacy issues the
technology raises.
This book manage to show you how you can methodically apply different techniques to your
own algorithms to make them more efficient. While this book mostly highlights general techniques,
some well-known algorithms are also looked at in depth.
This paper shows the development of a 1024-point
radix-4 FFT VHDL core for applications in hardware signal processing, targeting low-cost FPGA technologies. The developed core is targeted into a Xilinx廬 Spartan鈩?3 XC3S200 FPGA with the inclusion of a VGA display interface and an external 16-bit data acquisition system for performance evaluation purposes. Several tests were performed in order to verify FFT core functionality, besides the time performance analysis highlights the core advantages over commercially available DSPs and Pentium-based PCs. The core is compared with similar third party IP cores targeting resourceful FPGA technologies. The novelty of this work is to provide a lowcost, resource efficient core for spectrum analysis
applications.
The TJA1040 is an advanced high speed CAN transceiver for use in
automotive and general industrial applications. It supports the differential
bus signal representation described in the international standard for
in-vehicle high speed CAN applications (ISO11898). CAN (Controller Area
Network) is the standard protocol for serial in-vehicle bus communication,
particularly for Engine Management and Body Multiplexing.
The TJA1040 provides a Standby mode, as known from its functional
predecessors PCA82C250 and PCA82C251, but with significantly
reduced power consumption. Besides the excellent low-power behavior
the TJA1040 offers several valuable system improvements. highlights are
the absolute passive bus behavior if the device is unpowered as well as
the excellent EMC performance.
Fire and Fury。
This article is about the 2018 book. For other uses, see Fire and Fury (disambiguation).
The title refers to a quote by Trump about the conflict with North Korea. The book became a New York Times number one bestseller.Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House is a 2018 book by Michael Wolff which details the behavior of U.S. President Donald Trump and the staff of his 2016 presidential campaign and White House. The book highlights descriptions of Trump's behavior, chaotic interactions among senior White House staff, and derogatory comments about the Trump family by former White House Chief StrategistSteve Bannon. Trump is depicted as being held in low regard by his White House staff, leading Wolff to state that "100% of the people around him" believe Trump is unfit for office.[1]
Reviewers generally accepted Wolff's portrait of a dysfunctional Trump administration, but were skeptical of many of the book's most controversial claims.

Following chapter introduces the mobile communication, gives a short history of wireless
communication evolution, and highlights some application scenarios predestined for the
use of mobile devices. Cellular and wireless based systems related to different generations
of mobile communication, including GSM, IS-95, PHS, AMPS, D-AMPS, cdma2000 and
WCDMA are also described by this Chapter. Much attention in this chapter is given
to express the wireless based networks, such as Wi-Fi and WiBro/WiMax, and wireless
broadcasting systems, including DMB, DVB-H, and ISDB-T. We conclude the chapter
with the future vision of mobile communication evolution
