mesh網絡即”無線網格網絡”，是“多跳（multi-hop）”網絡，是由adhoc網絡發展而來，是解決“最后一公里”問題的關鍵技術之一。在向下一代網絡演進的過程中，無線是一個不可缺的技術。無線mesh可以與其它網絡協同通信，是一個動態的可以不斷擴展的網絡架構，任意的兩個設備均可以保持無線互聯。

    本章首先介紹論文的研究背景，先介紹無線mesh網絡，提出無線mesh網絡的特點與應用場景，然后從網絡管理技術發展的角度，引出無線mesh網絡的管理技術。接著分析無線mesh網絡系統的研究現狀，從無線mesh網絡的組網技術發展到相應的管理技術的發展。通過分析現階段的發展瓶頸，引出論文的研究內容和創新點。最后介紹論文的組織結構安排。1.1研究背景1.1.1無線mesh網技術無線mesh網絡（Wireless mesh Network，WMN）7是一種新型動態自組織自配置的無線網絡，它結合了無線局域網與移動自組網的特點，支持寬帶和高速多媒體業務，近年來得到越來越多的重視和發展。它具有不同于傳統網絡的特點，在提高網絡覆蓋率、增加網絡容量、減少前期投資方面具有很大優勢。網絡中的節點能夠自動地建立無線多跳網絡，被稱為廉價的“最后一公里”寬帶接入方案.在傳統的無線局域網中，客戶端通過AP（Access Point）接入點，利用無線鏈路來訪問網絡，這樣形成的接入關系叫BSS（Basic Service Set）用戶相互通信依賴于這個固定的接入點AP，這樣的網絡是一種單跳的網絡.而在無線mesh網絡中，一個mesh節點既可以提供AP功能，又能提供各節點之間相互連接的功能，每個節點都是一個對等的結構，可以直接進行通信
