在0 / 1背包問題中,需對(duì)容量為c 的背包進(jìn)行裝載。從n 個(gè)物品中選取裝入背包的物品,每件物品i 的重量為wi ,價(jià)值為pi 。對(duì)于可行的背包裝載,背包中物品的總重量不能超過背包的容量,最佳裝載是指所裝入的物品價(jià)值最高。

隨著PCB設(shè)計(jì)復(fù)雜度的逐步提高,對(duì)于信號(hào)完整性的分析除了反射,串?dāng)_以及EMI之外,穩(wěn)定可靠的電源供應(yīng)也成為設(shè)計(jì)者們重點(diǎn)研究的方向之一。尤其當(dāng)開關(guān)器件數(shù)目不斷增加,核心電壓不斷減小的時(shí)候,電源的波動(dòng)往往會(huì)給系統(tǒng)帶來致命的影響,于是人們提出了新的名詞:電源完整性,簡(jiǎn)稱pi(power integrity)。其實(shí),pi和SI是緊密聯(lián)系在一起的,只是以往的EDA仿真工具在進(jìn)行信號(hào)完整性分析時(shí),一般都是簡(jiǎn)單地假設(shè)電源絕對(duì)處于穩(wěn)定狀態(tài),但隨著系統(tǒng)設(shè)計(jì)對(duì)仿真精度的要求不斷提高,這種假設(shè)顯然是越來越不能被接受的,于是pi的研究分析也應(yīng)運(yùn)而生。從廣義上說,pi是屬于SI研究范疇之內(nèi)的,而新一代的信號(hào)完整性仿真必須建立在可靠的電源完整性基礎(chǔ)之上。雖然電源完整性主要是討論電源供給的穩(wěn)定性問題,但由于地在實(shí)際系統(tǒng)中總是和電源密不可分,通常把如何減少地平面的噪聲也作為電源完整性中的一部分進(jìn)行討論。
