A java application - processing which can be downloaded free from processing.org
Here it uses a free library - OpenCV - made by intel. .. to convert all the pixels in an image - in fact in a movie - a capture from the webcam. If the color of a pixel is "higher" comparing to a threshold it turns black - otherwise it becomes white.
This application note describes how to decode standard DTMF tones using the minimum number of external discrete components and a PIC. The two examples use a PIC which has an 8 bit timer and either a comparator or an ADC, although it can be modified for use on a PIC which has only digital I/O. The Appendices have example code for the 16C662 (with comparator) and 16F877 (using the ADC).
As the majority of the Digital Signal Processing is done in software, little is required in the way of external signal conditioning. Software techniques are used to model the individual elements of a DTMF Decoder IC.
This an adaptive receiver for a direct-sequence spread spectrum (DS-SS) system over an AWGN channel. The adaptive receiver block is modified from the LMS adaptive filter block in DSP Blockset. For DS-SS signal reception, the adaptive filter needs to have multi-rate operation. The input sample rate is equal to chip rate and the output is at symbol rate. Two rates are related by PG, processing gain
The Audio File Library provides a uniform programming interface to
standard digital audio file formats.
This library allows the processing of audio data to and from audio
files of many common formats (currently AIFF, AIFF-C, WAVE, NeXT/Sun
.snd/.au, IRCAM, AVR, Amiga IFF/8SVX, and NIST SPHERE). The library
also supports compression (currently G.711 mu-law and A-law and IMA and
MS ADPCM) as well as PCM formats of all flavors (signed and unsigned
integer, single- and double-precision floating point).
A C++ N-grams Package 2.0
This is a simple C++ n-grams package that includes a header, the corresponding cpp file, and a sample driver program. It is a natural language processing tool for creating n-gram profiles for text documents. The details on usage is documented in the header right above each public function defined. This package is based on Dr. Vlado Keselj s Perl package Text::Ngrams which is available in CPAN.
