CORDIC (Coordinate rotation Digital Computer) is a method for computing elementary functions using minimal hardware such as shifts, adds/subs and compares.
CORDIC works by rotating the coordinate system through constant angles until the angle is reduces to zero. The angle offsets are selected such that the operations on X and Y are only shifts and adds.
rotation tool, totates a single image contained in HANDLE.HANDLE can be a handle to figure, axes, or image object.
This GUI is a pure imitation of ROTATEGUI from Birju Patel and uses some code from that function. However, it has extended functionalities and was re-writen using R13 syntax. Which means that it can be compiled with the V3.x compiler.

Abstract:
A central control system applied to an ATV vehicle weapons is designed. The system design is based on TMS320F2812 DSP as the core, uses modular design for its hardware parts. The central control system can complete the motion control of the level of weapons and equipment, rotation direction, to achieve a state of static or moving objects on the target ranging, auto-targeting and according to the established target and the projectile and the launch of the security performance testing and other functions. Through the development of appropriate software and to carry out system testing to verify the stability of this design and operation.
The module LSQ is for unconstrained linear least-squares fitting. It is
based upon Applied Statistics algorithm AS 274 (see comments at the start
of the module). A planar-rotation algorithm is used to update the QR-
factorization. This makes it suitable for updating regressions as more
data become available. The module contains a test for singularities which
is simpler and quicker than calculating the singular-value decomposition.
An important feature of the algorithm is that it does not square the condition
number. The matrix X X is not formed. Hence it is suitable for ill-
conditioned problems, such as fitting polynomials.
By taking advantage of the MODULE facility, it has been possible to remove
many of the arguments to routines. Apart from the new function VARPRD,
and a back-substitution routine BKSUB2 which it calls, the routines behave
as in AS 274.
