The CUBA library provides new implementation of four general-purpose multidimensional integration algorithms: Vegas, Suave, Divonne, and
Cuhre. Suave is a new algorithm, Divonne is a known algorithm to which important details have been added, and Vegas and Cuhre are new
implementations of existing algorithms with only few improvements over the original versions. All four algorithms can integrate vector integrands
and have very similar Fortran, C/C++, and Mathematica interfaces.
This book has been updated for the new Java version, J2SE 5.0, and works its way through a project with requirements and structure similar to the project you ll encounter in the SCJD exam
Universal Serial Bus (USB) is a communications architecture that gives a personal
computer (PC) the ability to interconnect a variety of devices using a simple four-
wire cable. The USB is actually a two-wire serial communication link that runs at
either 1.5 or 12 megabits per second (mbs). USB protocols can configure devices
at startup or when they are plugged in at run time. These devices are broken into
various device classes. Each device class defines the common behavior and
protocols for devices that serve similar functions. Some examples of USB device
classes are shown in the following table
The Style Guide provides you with the style specifications required to write custom reports that have a similar look to standard Microsoft CRM reports.
In this article, we present an overview of methods for sequential simulation from posterior distributions.
These methods are of particular interest in Bayesian filtering for discrete time dynamic models
that are typically nonlinear and non-Gaussian. A general importance sampling framework is developed
that unifies many of the methods which have been proposed over the last few decades in several
different scientific disciplines. Novel extensions to the existing methods are also proposed. We showin
particular how to incorporate local linearisation methods similar to those which have previously been
employed in the deterministic filtering literature these lead to very effective importance distributions.
Furthermore we describe a method which uses Rao-Blackwellisation in order to take advantage of
the analytic structure present in some important classes of state-space models. In a final section we
develop algorithms for prediction, smoothing and evaluation of the likelihood in dynamic models.

This zip file contains a example of using C++ language COM in a Visual C++ program (named example.zip), and a COM component built by comtool of Matlab and used in a Visual C++ program(named mycom.zip). Both projects contain fire_event in COM. But it only works well in the former example. The interface of two COM components looks very similar, and the client program of two projects are almost the same.
Lua is a powerful, light-weight programming language designed for extending applications. It is also frequently used as a general-purpose, stand-alone language. It combines simple procedural syntax (similar to Pascal) with powerful data description constructs based on associative arrays and extensible semantics. Lua is dynamically typed, interpreted from bytecodes, and has automatic memory management with garbage collection, making it ideal for configuration, scripting, and rapid prototyping.
UCS (Ultra Corba Simulator) is one more powerful corba client/servant simulator tool than other similar products(e.g. Telcopro s MtSim, or OpenFusion s Corba Explorer, or eaiBridge s CAST). It doesn t need idl-related helper class or IR service.
The Tremor Vorbis I stream and file decoder provides an embeddable, integer-only library [libvorbisidec] intended for decoding all current and future Vorbis I compliant streams. The Tremor libvorbisidec library exposes an API intended to be as similar as possible to the familiar vorbisfile library included with the open source Vorbis reference libraries distributed for free by Xiph.org.
Tremor can be used along with any ANSI compliant stdio implementation for file/stream access, or use custom stream i/o routines provided by the embedded environment. Both uses are described in detail in this documentation.
