In recent years large scientific interest has been
devoted to joint data decoding and parameter estimation
techniques. In this paper, iterative turbo decoding joint
to channel frequency and phase estimation is proposed.
The phase and frequency estimator is embedded into the
structure of the turbo decoder itself, taking into consideration
both turbo interleaving and puncturing. Results
show that the proposed technique outperforms conventional
approaches both in terms of detection capabilities and
implementation complexity.
In this article, we present an overview of methods for sequential simulation from posterior distributions.
These methods are of particular interest in Bayesian filtering for discrete time dynamic models
that are typically nonlinear and non-Gaussian. A general importance sampling framework is developed
that unifies many of the methods which have been proposed over the last few decades in several
different scientific disciplines. Novel extensions to the existing methods are also proposed. We showin
particular how to incorporate local linearisation methods similar to those which have previously been
employed in the deterministic filtering literature these lead to very effective importance distributions.
Furthermore we describe a method which uses Rao-Blackwellisation in order to take advantage of
the analytic structure present in some important classes of state-space models. In a final section we
develop algorithms for prediction, smoothing and evaluation of the likelihood in dynamic models.
The problem of image registration subsumes a number of problems and techniques in multiframe
image analysis, including the computation of optic flow (general pixel-based motion), stereo
correspondence, structure from motion, and feature tracking. We present a new registration
algorithm based on spline representations of the displacement field which can be specialized to
solve all of the above mentioned problems. In particular, we show how to compute local flow,
global (parametric) flow, rigid flow resulting from camera egomotion, and multiframe versions of
the above problems. Using a spline-based description of the flow removes the need for overlapping
correlation windows, and produces an explicit measure of the correlation between adjacent flow
estimates. We demonstrate our algorithm on multiframe image registration and the recovery of 3D
projective scene geometry. We also provide results on a number of standard motion sequences.

This code implements the shortest path algorithm via the simple scheme and fibonacci heap data structure. It has 3 kinds of testing data input method : random input by computer, reading from the file, reading from the key board.
The XML Toolbox converts MATLAB data types (such as double, char, struct, complex, sparse, logical) of any level of nesting to XML format and vice versa.
For example,
>> project.name = MyProject
>> project.id = 1234
>> project.param.a = 3.1415
>> project.param.b = 42
becomes with str=xml_format(project, off )
"<project>
<name>MyProject</name>
<id>1234</id>
<param>
<a>3.1415</a>
<b>42</b>
</param>
</project>"
On the other hand, if an XML string XStr is given, this can be converted easily to a MATLAB data type or structure V with the command V=xml_parse(XStr).

WordNet is a large lexical database of English, developed under the direction of George A. Miller. Nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs are grouped into sets of cognitive synonyms (synsets), each expressing a distinct concept. Synsets are interlinked by means of conceptual-semantic and lexical relations. The resulting network of meaningfully related words and concepts can be navigated with the browser. WordNet is also freely and publicly available for download. WordNet s structure makes it a useful tool for computational linguistics and natural language processing.
The Funambol J2ME Mail Client aims to be a light, easy to use, free email
client for J2ME devices.
The first release comes with a simple but effective UI, and a storage limited
to the internal RMS only. This makes the application compatible with most of
the phones around (minimum requirements are: MIDP2.0, CLDC 1.0, 512k of
Storage).
The mail synchronization using SyncML 1.2 over HTTP, thus removing
any problem related to the access to IMAP or POP ports.
The mail client synchonizes its address book with the one on the server,
Its design is modular and can be extended in future with other mail
protocols, a more sophisticated UI and access to the phone s AddressBook or
filesystem for the devices allowing this.
See the javadoc for more information on the structure of the library.

Risk Quantify is an open source financial library, with a focus on
managing the risk of financial instruments. The aim of this project is
to provide people working in the financial industry with a good base to
use in building their own applications. Risk Quantify provides pricing
routines, term structure building and management, calendar routines,
asset management routines and more.
