A Module-Based Wireless Node (MW-Node) is a Node with wireless and mobile capabilities added by means of modules. It is not a new node object derived from Node. Rather it is a new layout of mostly existing components. Rationale for this new design has been presented in [1]. The MW-Node provides a flexible support for wireless and mobile networking and in particular:
support for multiple interfaces/multiple channels, and
a common basis for the implementation of wireless routing protocols.
This module provides an interface to an alphanumeric display module.
The current version of this driver supports any alphanumeric LCD module based on the:Hitachi HD44780 DOT MATRIX LCD controller.

The module LSQ is for unconstrained linear least-squares fitting. It is
based upon Applied Statistics algorithm AS 274 (see comments at the start
of the module). A planar-rotation algorithm is used to update the QR-
factorization. This makes it suitable for updating regressions as more
data become available. The module contains a test for singularities which
is simpler and quicker than calculating the singular-value decomposition.
An important feature of the algorithm is that it does not square the condition
number. The matrix X X is not formed. Hence it is suitable for ill-
conditioned problems, such as fitting polynomials.
By taking advantage of the MODULE facility, it has been possible to remove
many of the arguments to routines. Apart from the new function VARPRD,
and a back-substitution routine BKSUB2 which it calls, the routines behave
as in AS 274.

KVM (for Kernel-based Virtual Machine) is a full virtualization solution for Linux on x86 hardware. It consists of a loadable kernel module (kvm.ko) and a userspace component.
Using KVM, one can run multiple virtual machines running unmodified Linux or Windows images. Each virtual machine has private virtualized hardware: a network card, disk, graphics adapter, etc.
The kernel component of KVM is included in mainline Linux, and will appear in Linux 2.6.20.
KVM is open source software.
Mod_python is an Apache module that embeds the Python interpreter within the server. With mod_python you can write web-based applications in Python that will run many times faster than traditional CGI and will have access to advanced features such as ability to retain database connections and other data between hits and access to Apache internals.
