一種以硅單晶為基本材料的P1N1P2N2四層三端器件，創制于1957年，由于它特性類似 雙向可控硅 于真空閘流管，所以國際上通稱為硅晶體閘流管，簡稱可控硅T。又由于可控硅最初應用于可控整流方面所以又稱為硅可控整流元件，簡稱為可控硅SCR。 在性能上，可控硅不僅具有單向導電性，而且還具有比硅整流元件（俗稱“死硅 ”）更為可貴的可控性。它只有導通和關斷兩種狀態。 可控硅能以毫安級電流控制大功率的機電設備，如果超過此頻率，因元件開關損耗顯著增加，允許通過的平均電流相降低，此時，標稱電流應降級使用。 可控硅的優點很多，例如：以小功率控制大功率，功率放大倍數高達幾十萬倍；反應極快，在微秒級內開通、關斷；無觸點運行，無火花、無噪音；效率高，成本低等等。 可控硅的弱點：靜態及動態的過載能力較差；容易受干擾而誤導通。

The TAS3204 is a highly-integrated audio system-on-chip (SOC) consisting of a fully-programmable, 48-bit digital audio processor, a 3:1 stereo analog input MUX, four ADCs, four DACs, and other analog functionality. The TAS3204 is programmable with the graphical PurePath Studio? suite of DSP code development software. PurePath Studio is a highly intuitive, drag-and-drop environment that minimizes software development effort while allowing the end user to utilize the power and flexibility of the TAS3204’s digital audio processing core. TAS3204 processing capability includes speaker equalization and crossover, volume/bass/treble control, signal mixing/MUXing/splitting, delay compensation, dynamic range compression, and many other basic audio functions. Audio functions such as matrix decoding, stereo widening, surround sound virtualization and psychoacoustic bass boost are also available with either third-party or TI royalty-free algorithms. The TAS3204 contains a custom-designed, fully-programmable 135-MHz, 48-bit digital audio processor. A 76-bit accumulator ensures that the high precision necessary for quality digital audio is maintained during arithmetic operations. Four differential 102 dB DNR ADCs and four differential 105 dB DNR DACs ensure that high quality audio is maintained through the whole signal chain as well as increasing robustness against noise sources such as TDMA interference.
