The goal of this library is to make ODBC recordsets look just like an STL container. As a user, you can move through our containers using StAndard STL iterators and if you insert(), erase() or replace() records in our containers changes can be automatically committed to the database for you. The library s compliance with the STL iterator and container StAndards means you can plug our abstractions into a wide variety of STL algorithms for data storage, searching and manipulation. In addition, the C++ reflection mechanism used by our library to bind to database tables allows us to add generic indexing and lookup properties to our containers with no special code required from the end-user. Because our code takes full advantage of the template mechanism, it adds minimal overhead compared with using raw ODBC calls to access a database.
LinCAN is a Linux kernel module that implements a CAN driver capable of working with multiple cards, even with different chips and IO methods. Each communication object can be accessed from multiple applications concurrently.
It supports RT-Linux, 2.2, 2.4, and 2.6 with fully implemented select, poll, fasync, O_NONBLOCK, and O_SYNC semantics and multithreaded read/write capabilities. It works with the common Intel i82527, Philips 82c200, and Philips SJA1000 (in StAndard and PeliCAN mode) CAN controllers.

A general technique for the recovery of signicant
image features is presented. The technique is based on
the mean shift algorithm, a simple nonparametric pro-
cedure for estimating density gradients. Drawbacks of
the current methods (including robust clustering) are
avoided. Feature space of any nature can be processed,
and as an example, color image segmentation is dis-
cussed. The segmentation is completely autonomous,
only its class is chosen by the user. Thus, the same
program can produce a high quality edge image, or pro-
vide, by extracting all the signicant colors, a prepro-
cessor for content-based query systems. A 512 512
color image is analyzed in less than 10 seconds on a
StAndard workstation. Gray level images are handled
as color images having only the lightness coordinate

Spikes can be taken as absolute quantities of measuring values which are large than approximately four (expressed as variable [Times_SD] in the program)times of the StAndard deviation of the time series, and can be removed by repeating 3 times with each time series. When a measuring value with the deviation from the mean larger than four times of the StAndard deviation, the variable can be taken as NO_VALUE, and the number of spikes is saved into the variable [SpikeNum].
If the variable [Times_SD] is taken as four, many records will be removed, so the variable [Times_SD] can be taken as larger, for example eight.
