there are some newly released Neural Network Example Programs for Character Recognition, which based on Image Processing Toolbox,Neural Network Toolbox in MATLAB, which is quite informative for the beginners in Neural networks applicators
This lab exercise will introduce you to the AccelWare IP generators. AccelWare is a library of over fifty IP generators, available in the form of three toolkits that produce synthesizable MATLAB for common MATLAB built in and Toolbox functions. Each generator offers macro and micro-architecture selections that allow full customization of the generated model to the target application requirements.

The data files included are .MAT or *.dat (ASCII)files. The m-files and the
data may be distributed, provided that the source is acknowledged in any
publication and the data are not sold. Since this software is being distributed
free of charge, the authors are not offering any technical support. Students who
have any questions or difficulties using this software, or require the
additional functions from the Signal Processing Toolbox should contact their
professor.
Introduction
Some times it is required that we build a shared library (DLL) from an m-file. M-files are functions that are written in Matlab editor and can be used from Matlab command prompt. In m-files, we employ Matlab built-in functions or Toolbox functions to compute something. In my past articles, I showed you some ways to use Matlab engine (vis. API, C++ class or Matlab engine API) for employing Matlab built-in functions, but what about functions that we develop? How can we use them in VC? Is there any interface? This article shows you an idea to employ your own Matlab functions.
