WSNs being energy constrained systems, one major problem is to employ the sensor nodes in such a manner so as to ensure maximum coverage and connectivity with minimal or optimal number of nodes and furthermore elongate network lifetime with maximum energy utilization. The problem addressed has been tackled for 1-D linear array and further extended to 2-Dimensions as stated in the next slides.

無線傳感器網(wǎng)絡(luò)體系結(jié)構(gòu)與性能標(biāo)準(zhǔn) WSNs體系結(jié)構(gòu)如圖1所示。它主要由以下部分組 成_2]:傳感器節(jié)點(diǎn)、接收發(fā)送器(Sink)、Internet或通信衛(wèi)星、 任務(wù)管理節(jié)點(diǎn)等部分。傳感器節(jié)點(diǎn)分布在感知區(qū)域內(nèi),采集 與觀察對象相關(guān)的數(shù)據(jù),并將協(xié)同處理后的數(shù)據(jù)傳送到 Sink。Sink可以通過Internet或通信衛(wèi)星實(shí)現(xiàn)傳感器網(wǎng)絡(luò)與 任務(wù)管理節(jié)點(diǎn)通信。WSNs路由協(xié)議的任務(wù)是在傳感器節(jié)點(diǎn) 和Sink節(jié)點(diǎn)之間建立路由,可靠地傳遞數(shù)據(jù)。
