The DSKs or eZdspTM LF2407 and the DMC1500 make up a table top motor
development system which allows engineers and software developers to evaluate
certain characteristics of the TMS320F240, TMS320F243, and TMS320LF2407 DSPs
to determine if the processor meets the designers application requirements. Evaluators
can create software to execute onboard or expand the system in a variety of ways.
If you are using Internet Explorer on Windows XP Service Pack 2, there is a security restriction disallowing scripts to run in files opened on your local machine. When you first try to run the examples, you will most likely get a message saying, "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer." The smspdulib library is intended for more transparent interaction with SMS PDU. This thought over hierarchy of classes will allow you to create new classes for other types of short messages using the realized base functionality.

By default, it is configured for flash breakpoints which allow you
to set real-time breakpoints in your software. Using Flash breakpoints

The VGA example generates a 320x240 diffusion-limited-aggregation (DLA) on Altera DE2 board. A DLA is a clump formed by sticky particles adhering to an existing structure. In this design, we start with one pixel at the center of the screen and allow a random walker to bounce around the screen until it hits the pixel at the center. It then sticks and a new walker is started randomly at one of the 4 corners of the screen. The random number generators for x and y steps are XOR feedback shift registers (see also Hamblen, Appendix A). The VGA driver, PLL, and reset controller from the DE2 CDROM are necessary to compile this example. Note that you must push KEY0 to start the state machine.
fwknop stands for "Firewall Knock Operator" and is an upcoming piece of software that will be released at the DEFCON 12 conference in July, 2004 in Las Vegas.
fwknop implements network access controls (via iptables) based on a flexible port knocking mini-language, but with a twist it combines port knocking and passive operating system fingerprinting to make it possible to do things like only allow, say, Linux-2.4/2.6 systems to connect to your SSH daemon.
fwknop supports shared, multi-protocol port knock sequences along with both relative and absolute timeouts, and coded port knock sequences encrypted with the Rijndael block cipher.

Windows CE Embedded CE 6.0 driver installation.
1. Unzip the installation file onto your system (called installation directory below)
2. Create an OS design or open an existing OS design in Platform Builder 6.0.
a. The OS must support the SD bus driver and have an SD Host Controller driver (add these from Catalog Items).
b. Run image size should be set to allow greater than 32MB.
3. a. From the Project menu select Add Existing Subproject...
b. select AR6K_DRV.pbxml
c. select open
This should create a subproject within your OS Design project for the AR6K_DRV driver.
4. Build the solution.
asfpga is an assembler written for use in FPGA design. It can be easily modified for your instruction set. The ultimate goal of this software is to allow a FPGA designer to easily write assembly code for a custom instruction set.
