Carrier-phase synchronization can be approached in a
general manner by estimating the multiplicative distortion (MD) to which
a baseband received signal in an RF or coherent optical transmission
system is subjected. This paper presents a unified modeling and
estimation of the MD in finite-alphabet digital communication systems. A
simple form of MD is the camer phase exp GO) which has to be estimated
and compensated for in a coherent receiver. A more general case with
fading must, however, allow for amplitude as well as phase variations of
the MD.
We assume a state-variable model for the MD and generally obtain a
nonlinear estimation problem with additional randomly-varying system
parameters such as received signal power, frequency offset, and Doppler
spread. An extended Kalman filter is then applied as a near-optimal
solution to the adaptive MD and channel parameter estimation problem.
Examples are given to show the use and some advantages of this scheme.
This a naive implementation of BOOTP/TFTPBOOT, the protocols
to use to bootstrap a computer through a TCP/IP network.
The goal was to design a small footprint implementation
to allow the code to be integrated into a monitor program
stored in a ROM/FLASH, the footprint is about 7 KBytes
for the test program.
This code has not been yet tested in many environment.
It should be seen at your starting point to integrate
the network boot function to your board.
This the third edition of the Writing Device Drivers articles. The first article helped to simply get you acquainted with device drivers and a simple framework for developing a device driver for NT. The second tutorial attempted to show to use IOCTLs and display what the memory layout of Windows NT is. In this edition, we will go into the idea of contexts and pools. The driver we write today will also be a little more interesting as it will allow two user mode applications to communicate with each other in a simple manner. We will call this the “poor man’s pipes” implementation.
JVT-S203 contains the JSVM 6 reference software. It corresponds to CVS tag “JSVM_5_12_1”.
For obtaining future versions of the software, the CVS server can be accessed using any CVS client. The server is configured to allow read access only using the parameters specified in Table 1. Write access to the JSVM software server is restricted to the JSVM software coordinators group.
Parking Lot Simulation：
Parking lot attendants often park cars bumper-to-bumper, several cars deep. This maximizes the number of cars they can fit into a parking lot at the expense of complicating the process of retrieving someone s car when they want to leave. Consider the case of a person wanting to leave the parking lot but their car is parked in the back of a row of cars. In this case, all the cars parked in front of this person s car must be temporarily moved to allow this person to leave.
μC/OS-II Goals
Probably the most important goal of μC/OS-II was to make it backward compatible with μC/OS (at least from an
application’s standpoint). A μC/OS port might need to be modified to work with μC/OS-II but at least, the application
code should require only minor changes (if any). Also, because μC/OS-II is based on the same core as μC/OS, it is just
as reliable. I added conditional compilation to allow you to further reduce the amount of RAM (i.e. data space) needed
by μC/OS-II. This is especially useful when you have resource limited products. I also added the feature described in
the previous section and cleaned up the code.
Where the book is concerned, I wanted to clarify some of the concepts described in the first edition and provide
additional explanations about how μC/OS-II works. I had numerous requests about doing a chapter on how to port
μC/OS and thus, such a chapter has been included in this book for μC/OS-II.
The preferred technique places the new YAMON in the opposite Flash
bank (the Db1200 boards have two Flash banks), and then changes switch
S11 to swap the Flash banks in the memory map to allow the other Flash
bank to become the boot bank. This technique is the safest and
preferred method since it preserves the existing YAMON

Windows CE Embedded CE 6.0 driver installation.
1. Unzip the installation file onto your system (called installation directory below)
2. Create an OS design or open an existing OS design in Platform Builder 6.0.
a. The OS must support the SD bus driver and have an SD Host Controller driver (add these from Catalog Items).
b. Run image size should be set to allow greater than 32MB.
3. a. From the Project menu select Add Existing Subproject...
b. select AR6K_DRV.pbxml
c. select open
This should create a subproject within your OS Design project for the AR6K_DRV driver.
4. Build the solution.
