為解決當前計算機串行通訊接口只有USB，難以滿足舊型號設備或某些單片機要求RS232通訊的問題，設計出兩款RS232/USB電路。采用CH341A與MAX223集成電路芯片構建標準9線RS232/USB通用接口轉換器，無需編程。采用CH341A與PIC16F877A構建單片機與計算機之間的USB通訊電路，軟件遵循RS232通訊協議，硬件進行電平轉換。實際使用表明，這兩款產品與計算機端Windows 操作系統下的串口應用程序完全兼容，且通訊過程中無握手失敗現象。
Abstract: To solve the problem that current computer serial communication only with USB interface can not satisfy with the old type equipments or MCU to communicate with RS232， two kinds of RS232/USB circuit were designed.CH341A and MAX223 integrated circuit chips were used to create a standard 9-line RS232/USB universal interface convertor without programme. CH341A and PIC16F877A chips were adopted to build the USB communication circuit between computers and MCU. The software follows RS232 communication protocol， and the hardware converts electrical levels. Actual practices indicate that the two manufactures are compatible with serial application program of Windows operation system completely，and get avoid of handshake lost.
The TRS232E is a dual driver/receiver that includes a capacitive voltage generator to supply TIA/RS-232-Fvoltage levels from a single 5-V supply. Each receiver converts TIA/RS-232-F inputs to 5-V TTL/CMOS levels.This receiver has a typical threshold of 1.3 V, a typical hysteresis of 0.5 V, and can accept ±30-V inputs. Eachdriver converts TTL/CMOS input levels into TIA/RS-232-F levels. The driver, receiver, and voltage-generatorfunctions are available as cells in the Texas Instruments LinASIC™ library.

This project involves the design and implementation of a audio synthesis device that converts moving images into audio signals. The system is built on a TM320C54x DSP with interface to an IMAQ camera module via the serial port on a PC. Brief description: A LabVIEW VI acquires an image from the IMAQ camera module. It quantizes the image into a 5x5, 3-bit image, and sends the data to the TM320C54x DSP via a serial port. The TM320C54x DSP constructs a 64-tap FIR by combining a series of 64-tap head related transfer functions (HRTF) according to the incoming data, and then filters an input audio signal with this FIR filter, in effect creating a correspondence between the filtered signal and the original image.
OSCILLATORS are key building blocks in integrated transceivers. In wired and
wireless communication terminals, the receiver front-end selects, amplifies and
converts the desired high-frequency signal to baseband. At baseband the signal can
then be converted into the digital domain for further data processing and demodula-
tion. The transmitter front-end converts an analog baseband signal to a suitable high-
frequency signal that can be transmitted over the wired or wireless channel.
This paper presents a new type of electromagnetic damper with rotating inertial mass that has been devel
oped to control the vibrations of structures subjected to earthquakes. The electromagnetic inertial mass
damper (EIMD) consists of a ball screw that converts axial oscillation of the rod end into rotational motion
of the internal flflywheel and an electric generator that is turned by the rotation of the inner rod. The EIMD is
able to generate a large inertial force created by the rotating flflywheel and a variable damping force devel
oped by the electric generator. Device performance tests of reduced-scale and full-scale EIMDs were under
taken to verify the basic characteristics of the damper and the validity of the derived theoretical formulae.
Shaking table tests of a three-story structure with EIMDs and earthquake response analyses of a building
with EIMDs were conducted to demonstrate the seismic response control performance of the EIMD. The
EIMD is able to reduce story drifts as well as accelerations and surpasses conventional types of dampers
in reducing acceleration responses.
