3. Distribution of this core must be free of charge. Charging is -- allowed only for value added services. Value added services -- would include copying fees, modifications, customizations, and -- inclusion in other products.
The PMSM FOC is made of several C modules, compatible with the free-of-charge IAR
EWARM KickStart edition toolchain version 4.42. It is used to quickly evaluate both the MCU
and the available tools. In addition, when used together with the STM32F103xx motor
control starter kit (STM3210B-MCKIT) and PM motor, a motor can be made to run in a very
short time. It also eliminates the need for time-consuming development of FOC and speed
regulation algorithms by providing ready-to-use functions that let the user concentrate on
the application layer. Moreover, it is possible to get rid of any speed sensor thanks to the
sensorless algorithm for rotor position reconstruction.
Many programs today suffer from the fact that their users have to connect using IP addresses. This is impossible for dialup users, whose IPs change all the time, and painful for LAN users who don t know their IP addresses or whose addresses also change. In addition, many collaborative programs could benefit from offering friends lists, showing friends as online or offline, providing status information. This kind of functionality is hard to provide, requiring a dedicated Internet database and a new client - client protocol. But it is offered today through a system called AwareNet, which is offered free of charge and royalty
The data files included are .MAT or *.dat (ASCII)files. The m-files and the
data may be distributed, provided that the source is acknowledged in any
publication and the data are not sold. Since this software is being distributed
free of charge, the authors are not offering any technical support. Students who
have any questions or difficulties using this software, or require the
additional functions from the Signal Processing Toolbox should contact their
professor.
The version of CodeWarrior used in the ARM Development Suite
cannot export projects in makefile format. Manually producing
makefiles from CodeWarrior projects is not an easy task. The
aim of mcp2make is to make the conversion simpler and to require
substantially less effort.
mcp2make is supplied as a free-of-charge, unsupported utility.
Free Space Optical Communication (FSOC) is an effective alternative technology to
meet the Next Generation Network (NGN) demands as well as highly secured (mili-
tary) communications. FSOC includes various advantages like last mile access, easy
installation, free of Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI)/Electro Magnetic Compatibil-
ity (EMC) and license free access etc. In FSOC, the optical beam propagation in the
turbulentatmosphereisseverelyaffectedbyvariousfactorssuspendedinthechannel,
geographicallocationoftheinstallationsite,terraintypeandmeteorologicalchanges.
Therefore a rigorous experimental study over a longer period becomes significant to
analyze the quality and reliability of the FSOC channel and the maximum data rate
that the system can operate since data transmission is completely season dependent.
Recently a new technology for high voltage Power MOSFETshas been introduced – the CoolMOS™ . Based on thenew device concept of charge compensation the RDS(on) areaproduct for e.g. 600V transistors has been reduced by afactor of 5. The devices show no bipolar current contributionlike the well known tail current observed during the turn-offphase of IGBTs. CoolMOS™ virtually combines the lowswitching losses of a MOSFET with the on-state losses of anIGBT.
Photomultipliers (PMT), avalanche photodiodes (APD),ultrasonic transducers, capacitance microphones, radiationdetectors and similar devices require high voltage, low current bias. Additionally, the high voltage must bepristinely free of noise; well under a millivolt is a commonrequirement with a few hundred microvolts sometimesnecessary. Normally, switching regulator confi gurationscannot achieve this performance level without employingspecial techniques. One aid to achieving low noise is thatload currents rarely exceed 5mA. This freedom permitsoutput fi ltering methods that are usually impractical
Electrostatic discharge (ESD) is one of the most prevalent threats to the reliability
of electronic components. It is an event in which a finite amount of charge is trans-
ferred from one object (i.e., human body) to another (i.e., microchip). This process
can result in a very high current passing through the microchip within a very short
period of time, and, hence, more than 35% of chip damages can be attributed to an
ESD-related event. As such, designing on-chip ESD structures to protect integrated
circuits against the ESD stresses is a high priority in the semiconductor industry.
