* This a software code module for a time-of-day clock object. * The clock may be fixed 12-hour, fixed 24-hour, or dynamically * configurable between these two types. Clock data can be accessed * as a binary number representing the number of minutes since midnight * or a BCD number formatted according to the time-of-day description * in the TIME module 0404x. The functions work with time-of-day values * which conform to normally accepted clock values of 1:00 to * 12:59 BCD / 0 to 719 binary for a 12-hour clock or clock values * 00:00 to 23:59 BCD / 0 to 1439 binary for a 24-hour clock. On power-up * the clock is 12:00 BCD / 0 binary for a 12-hour or dynamically * configurable clock, or 00:00 BCD / 0 binary for a 24-hour clock.

Intro/: Directory containing introductory examples. HelloWorld.c A simple program that draws a box and writes "Hello World" in HelloWorld.f it. data The data file for the introductory progressive example. Lines.c Reads the data from file "data" and plots just the curve with Lines.f no labels, viewport or anything indicating quantity or units. Viewport.c Restricts the graph to a viewport and frames the viewport, Viewport.f leaving the remainder of the area for labels, etc. CharLbls.c Adds labels for the chart title, X-axis title, and Y-axis CharLbls.f title. Tics.c Adds tic marks to the viewport edges, but since clipping was Tics.f not set correctly, tics extend outside the viewport. Clip.c Sets clipping such that tic marks are clipped at the viewport Clip.f boundaries. TicLabels.c Adds numeric tic labels to the graph this is the final TicLabels.f installment of the progressive example.

聚類算法:k—medoids 方法。這兒選取一個對象叫做mediod來代替上面的中心 的作用,這樣的一個medoid就標識了這個類。步驟: 1,任意選取K個對象作為medoids(O1,O2,…Oi…Ok)。

Do you have a mobile phone? We think you probably do, one way or another. We would also guess that you might use it for many diff erent things in the course of your everyday life—as a telephone certainly, but also as an address book, as a clock or watch, as a camera, or now as a connection to your computer, email and the internet. Th ere will be a range of people you use it to contact (or not), and various strategies you use to take calls—or send texts, or take photos, or receive emails, or search online (or not, in diff erent situations). Th ere are also likely to be a range of social relation- ships in your life that your mobile phone helps to maintain—or disrupts, or inter- venes in, or makes possible, or complicates, or just plain helps to handle.

Fun. We (your authors) wanted a word to describe our ultimate goal for this book, as well as a word we hope you (our reader) will use to describe it, and that’s the one we chose. There are others goals, of course, but in the end, when you’ve finished the book, we’re hoping you’ll have enjoyed the activities described in these pages. Many books use the Introduction to explain exactly what the book is about, what the reader will learn, what the reader needs (a skill or maybe an item or piece of software), and what the reader will be left with when that last page is completed. And this Introduction will do those things, but … hopefully it’ll make you excited to get started.

Have you ever looked at some gadget and wondered how it really worked? Maybe it was a remote control boat, the system that controls an elevator, a vending machine, or an electronic toy? Or have you wanted to create your own robot or electronic signals for a model railroad, or per- haps you’d like to capture and analyze weather data over time? Where and how do you start?
