The control uses javascript to handle number formatting as you keep typing and does the validation as well. For one of our requirement, we needed a javascript based control that did formatting as the users kept typing. Google search only yielded script that did formatting on focus change events only. So I went about creating a new control myself.

JLAB is a set of Matlab functions I have written or co-written over the past fifteen years for the purpose of analyzing data. It consists of four hundred m-files spanning thirty thousand lines of code. JLAB includes functions ranging in complexity from one-line aliases to high-level algorithms for certain specialized tasks. These have been collected together and made publicly available for you to use, modify, and --- subject to certain very reasonable constraints --- to redistribute. Some of the highlights are: a suite of functions for the rapid manipulation of multi-component, potentially multi-dimensional datasets a systematic way of dealing with datasets having components of non-uniform length tools for fine-tuning figures using compact, straightforward statements and specialized functions for spectral and time / frequency analysis, including advanced wavelet algorithms developed by myself and collaborators.

I was trying to develope a programme to make a slide show of all the pictures of a folder using vb.net. I have spent lot of time in net for searching this but all in vain, I didn t get a simple programme to solve the same and lastly I gave myself a try for the same and developed the code, I have used there a folderbrowserdialogue and a timer with a picture box control and in coding I have used IO name spaces to get the pathe and folder info here is the code. When I set out to become an MFC programmer in 1994, I went shopping for an MFC equivalent to Programming Windows. After searching in vain for such a book and spending a year learning MFC the old-fashioned way, I decided to write one myself. It s the book you hold in your hands. And it s the book I would like to have had when I was learning to program Windows the MFC way.

A few years ago I became interested in first person shooter games and in particular how the world levels are created and rendered in real time. At the same time I found myself in between jobs and so I embarked on an effort to learn about 3D rendering with the goal of creating my own 3D rendering engine. Since I am a developer and not an artist I didn’t have the skills to create my own models, levels, and textures. So I decided to attempt to write a rendering engine that would render existing game levels. I mainly used information and articles I found on the web about Quake 2, Half Life, WAD and BSP files. In particular I found the Michael Abrash articles that he wrote for Dr. Dobbs magazine while working at Id to be very illuminating.
