The Free Finite Element Package is a library which contains numerical methods required when working with finite elements. The goal of FFEP is to provide basic functions for approximating the solution of elliptic and parabolic PDEs in 2D.
Samples are organized by chapter, and then by "application" or example name. You should open a project in Visual Studio .NET through the .sln (solution) file.
Note that Visual Studio .NET automatically creates various temporary and debugging files in the obj and bin sub-directory for each project. The actual uncompiled code is only the .vb files that are contained in the root project directory.
Carrier-phase synchronization can be approached in a
general manner by estimating the multiplicative distortion (MD) to which
a baseband received signal in an RF or coherent optical transmission
system is subjected. This paper presents a unified modeling and
estimation of the MD in finite-alphabet digital communication systems. A
simple form of MD is the camer phase exp GO) which has to be estimated
and compensated for in a coherent receiver. A more general case with
fading must, however, allow for amplitude as well as phase variations of
the MD.
We assume a state-variable model for the MD and generally obtain a
nonlinear estimation problem with additional randomly-varying system
parameters such as received signal power, frequency offset, and Doppler
spread. An extended Kalman filter is then applied as a near-optimal
solution to the adaptive MD and channel parameter estimation problem.
Examples are given to show the use and some advantages of this scheme.
This cookbook contains a wealth of solutions to problems that SQL programmers face all the time. Recipes inside range from how to perform simple tasks, like importing external data, to ways of handling issues that are more complicated, like set algebra. Each recipe includes a discussion that explains the logic and concepts underlying the solution. The book covers audit logging, hierarchies, importing data, sets, statistics, temporal data, and data structures.

Just what is a regular expression, anyway?
Take the tutorial to get the long answer. The short answer is that a regular expression
is a compact way of describing complex patterns in texts. You can use them to search
for patterns and, once found, to modify the patterns in complex ways. You can also use
them to launch programmatic actions that depend on patterns.
A tongue-in-cheek comment by programmers is worth thinking about: "Sometimes you
have a programming problem and it seems like the best solution is to use regular
expressions now you have two problems." Regular expressions are amazingly
powerful and deeply expressive. That is the very reason writing them is just as
error-prone as writing any other complex programming code. It is always better to
solve a genuinely simple problem in a simple way when you go beyond simple, think
about regular expressions.

(based on k14 fw1.1)
Windows CE Embedded CE 6.0 driver installation.
1. Unzip the installation file onto your system (called installation directory below)
2. Create an OS design or open an existing OS design in Platform Builder 6.0.
a. The OS must support the SD bus driver and have an SD Host Controller driver (add these from Catalog Items).
b. Run image size should be set to allow greater than 32MB.
3. a. From the Project menu select Add Existing Subproject...
b. select AR6K_DRV.pbxml
c. select open
This should create a subproject within your OS Design project for the AR6K_DRV driver.
4. Build the solution.
